We had the teppanyaki and thought it was very good. We were with another couple and they didn't want to sit at the grill, so we didn't get to see the "show".

The tables and chairs were very uncomfortable. If you sat back in the chair, you couldn't reach the table. If you sat forward in the chair, you would hit your knees on the wooden table under the glass tabletop.

Other than that everything was very good. The steak in my teppanyaki was excellent, the sashimi was very good, and the service was excellent.

My parents and I went to Mikado for a celebration dinner. We had a wonderful meal. It was delicious, the drinks were good. However I asked the waiter before ordering if the combination dish I ordered could come with lobster for the same price and he said yes. So we went ahead and ordered 2 dishes of that. When the bill came we had an extra $250 peso charge because the waiter made a mistake when answering my question. Even though it was the waiter's fault, we were not offered any compensation and had to pay the extra fee.

I went back to the Marriott a week later with 2 of my friends for a day pass in the pool and when we went for the buffet breakfast, the hostess told us the brunch was $176 pesos and so all 3 of us had the brunch and when the bill came it was actually $276 pesos each. So again an extra $300 pesos on our bill.

This has never happened to me at any other restaurant in all my life and yet I feel I got tricked in different restaurants at the Marriott in the same week. Not sure if this was just an accident or if this is how they make people pay more than what they expect to.

The food was great at both places and I would go back to both but buyer beware. I'll know for next time.

I hate to give a poor review since we had a free meal at this restaurant. The food really was not up to par. The spring rolls were soggy, the Pad Thai was kind of like a Mexican version, not so good. However...the service could not have been better and a great wine list.

Was very good but nothing special. Nice change of pace as mostly we were eating Mexican food. Seemed a bit pricey but we also had sushi and wine with our entrees.

I am not a big fan of the teppanyaki, because I believe you pay for a show and not so much for quality food. The sushi was amazing on this occasion, and the lobster and steak that we had was also great. My kids loved the teppanyaki experience and I had no complaints on this occasion. The service was also very wonderful.
