Description: Teatro Limón is Puerto Vallarta's finest interactive dining experience. Sit back and enjoy a relaxing meal or take part in the creation and enjoyment of a gourmet meal designed by (or with) talented Canadian Chef, Bruce Byng. You find no boring fixed menu here, Teatro Limon's innovative plates constantly changing. And while Bruce continually strives to come up with exciting new approaches to beloved classics, he is unwavering in his insistence on premium quality and absolute freshness. Be as involved as you want. Or, Opt to sit back and soak in the good things that come to you in the cheery torch-lit terrace under the stars. Or, make yourself comfortable in the open kitchen and be part of the action. Every cocktail imaginable comes out of the fully stocked bar just the way you like it and wine pairings are suggested, with several vintages available by the glass. All in all, an evening at Teatro Limón is an unforgettable and yes, somewhat theatrical experience, ideal for sharing with family, a group of friends or that special someone. Teatro Limon is located in the heart of Old town on Basilio badillo 229 on the upper level of Cocco's Market Bistro Cafe

No menu and no prices but no problem. Bruce nd his wife Julia are so engaging and entertaining the evening flew by. The food, ostrich, tuna, and buffalo was superb. Julia's desserts were soooo tasty. YaYa,our hostess, was very charming and fixed some wonderful drinks. We will be there again next year.

The trio of Chef Bruce, wife Julia, and trusted hostess YaYa make visits to PV seem like home....except better! No menus or chalkboards...combine Bruce's creativity with local produce. A few questions about preferences and delights and Bruce's imagination creates a personalized delicacy. Last Saturday I heard words foreign to me..."how do you like your ostrich?" Now I know I like it medium rare! Each course...and there are many...is brilliantly presented, like the cauliflower and blue cheese Brie soup with yogurt and fresh herbs, and the wild, local arugula, beautifully peppery, with nuts, figs and balsamic....and the seared scallop in black sesame seed with entwined shrimps and passion fruit! Wow! Dessert was a lemon tart with raspberry and chocolate sauce. I learned that ostrich is well matched with a tangy Mexican wine, Convertible (with a steering wheel on the label). I also learned that Licor 43 is well matched with everything!! We had periodic tours of the kitchen to see Chef Bruce at work and I enjoyed all the "toys"....souvide machine, thermomix, smoking gun. Bruce's culinary skills, plating genius along with his ability to connect made this an Experience to Remember. Bruce knows how to source his food, Julia's legal background makes her a fascinating conversationalist and dessert-creator, and YaYa offers the magic of Mexico. Our son is a chef "at home" and Bruce's generosity in sharing experiences, ideas, and wisdom distinguished this from mere fine dining.

Absolutely fabulous dinner! Chef Bruce and his lovely wife, Julia, prepared a meal that was truly out of this world! The chef prepares amazing dishes, one after another, while he shows you the secrets of his craft! By far the most unique dining experience in PV and perhaps anywhere. Every dish was a masterpiece and wines were paired beautifully. Desserts by Julia were equally amazing. Bruce and Julia are as personable and friendly as they are talented! This is truly a gem not to be missed!

Going to Bruce's home for a homemade 4 course meal is such a fun and unique experience in PV! We love coming every year and he/his staff are always so charming and accommodating. It's so fun to watch them cook your entire meal in his large kitchen and while it's legit inside his home, you feel like you are eating in a small restaurant among friends/everybody else there as well. If you are looking for a unique dining experience while in Puerto Vallarta, definitely consider his restaurant inside his home!

Chef Bruce hosted a private dinner my husband and I along with 8 friends. He made a multi-course menu based on the availability of fresh products. He easily accommodated food allergies or preferences and easily satisfied everyone needs. His palate is outstanding the the combinations he created were each an explosion of flavour and texture for the mouth. I personally ate, and more importantly enjoyed, foods that I don't even like (ie, shrimp) but Bruce made it taste phenomenal. Each dish was layered with items that went together so well. There were multiple choices for the entree and it was hard to choose one (aged beef, pork, lamb). I can't wait to return to Puerto Vallarta again next February to see what he creates next time.

Special event dinners or just a regular meal you just stop by and treat your taste buds!
