We stayed 6 nights with extended family and little kids in two large suites. Great place with very nice amenities and beautiful views. Our suites had private jacuzzis in our private terraces the kids loved. Breakfast buffet is very rich with lots of choices. Poolside cafe food was so so.

Our second visit to Garza Blanca was somehow even more spectacular than our first. Our initial visit was last December and we instantly fell in love with the property. The waters are crystal clear, the views are out of this world and the architecture is modern and contemporary, with so many extravagant little touches it seems like they've thought of everything. But what really stands out for us, and convinced us to make garza Blanca our forever beach home, was the people. Although we've travelled extensively throughout Mexico, the US, Australia, Europe, Caribbean, Central & South America, and Canada, neither of us has ever met a more kind, fun, and thoughtful group of individuals. The owners of Garza Blanca must treat their employees really well, because we've never known a more exceptional bunch. Don't even bother trying to be cranky for a single minute because the family here just won't let you! Although every single individual we met was spectacular, there were a few very memorable ones.
Francisco: the most energetic and engaging person we've met throughout our travels. He heads up the "Activities" which on a daily basis include hiking, yoga, kayaking, bird watching, paddle boarding, or just asking him to set you up a spot next to the water, all of which is offered at no extra charge. Francisco is amazing, intelligent, funny, and eager to please, he made every one of our days very, very special!!
Cesar: the bartender at Blanca Blue. Not just the best bartender that we've had at a resort, but literally world class. Cesar makes drinks that are more art then beverage. Every drink was beyond creative, with an assortment of flavors that made you think you would never order anything different...until the next creation came! :) In addition to being an unforgettable mixologist, Cesar is a also a wonderful person who shared some very amazing stories with us. Of our 7 nights at Garza Blanca, we made sure we went to visit Cesar each night he worked because he ((and his drinks)) were just that special!
Jassiel: also works in Blanca Blue, and is a young man with exceptional hospitality and a desire to help each and every guest enjoy themselves. We had so much fun talking to Jassiel and he knows the menu inside and out, where every selection is caught and how each menu item is prepared and can just perfectly describe anything your wanting to try. He is polite, engaging, and makes Blanca Blue feel both like home and a first class restaurant at the same time!!
The food, by the way, is outstanding. Fish is caught daily, soups are made from scratch, and the homemade pastas (with mushrooms in particular) are absolutely decadent. The chefs here really know how to turn out a good menu, and the restaurant just up the hill, Boca, was no different. We visited Boca daily for breakfast, the juices were fresh squeezed, the menu had so much variety and the servers were welcoming and happy to see you every morning. Not a thing was forgotten or delayed, it's like they intuited everything you might need and brought it out to you before you could ever look around.
Victor: at the front door, was instantly likable and made coming and going from the resort so easy and fun. I wish I could recall the names of the rest of the guys we engaged with here because we've never been treated so well by each and every single individual. They weren't looking for tips, although any are humbly appreciated, but they go out of their way with a smile and a joke and they really want to stand there and talk to you and get to know you for as long as your willing! Here are some of the things these guys helped with, and the list could just go on and on honestly. We rented a jeep one day to drive to a very remote beach a few hours away, and when we returned thrifty had already been by for the vehicle. 3 of them ran over to the phone, called and convinced thrifty to make another trip out to the property and pick up our vehicle again. Without ever being asked, they helped my fiancée put the hard tops back on, cleaned out our wrappers where we had snacked in the car, and ran in to return the towels we had brought along. Every single thing they did was done so with a smile and genuine happiness to please you and help. It was so refreshing, we've never experienced anything like it. Thank you to each of these many guys for being so welcoming, they really are the first experience you have coming to the place, and set a very high standard with their excellent service!
Bryan: works in the sales/timeshare side of Garza Blanca, and NONE of this would have been possible if not for all the ways he went out on a limb for us. We spoke to Bryan on the phone before we arranged to come back, and he made things so easy and put everything together for us! He stayed late the Sunday of our arrival, because everything happened last minute with us extending our trip in Puerto Vallarta and wanting to move the rest of it to Garza Blanca because, honestly, nothing else compares. So here it is, Sunday afternoon, and Bryan is supposed to go home, and he's already been on and off the phone with us a dozen times trying to get everything arranged, and we walk in (kind of late), and he's there waiting for us. He has everything set up, a cocktail in hand for each of us, and genuine excitement that he was able to put it all together somehow (it wasn't easy.) He spent time talking to us, explaining what we needed to do to make our last minute plans possible, and working his magic to make everything come together. If you've been thinking about visiting or buying at this lovely place, Bryan is your guy! We would see him in the mornings talking to other guests and explaining the different ways you can vacation/own here, and we would always comment that whoever got Bryan got incredibly lucky. He cares truly about the property, but also about its visitors, and he's the guy who can get things done. He called and checked on us a few days into it, invited us to have breakfast with him, just a really, really genuine and likable guy!!
The rest of the staff, I wish I could list every single person by name, but honestly it's just across the board, every one of them was exceptional. Our stay was so incredible, I would recommend everything about this place! From the people, the property (absolutely 5 star), to the food and drinks, you can't go wrong at Garza Blanca. Even if you do have to listen to a timeshare presentation on your first stay for an hour or two, (which I don't think you HAVE to in order to stay), you'll be glad you did. We are very, very happy owners at one of the most beautiful places in the world, with certainly the most fantastic family of new friends! We weren't going to return until next December, but we're already looking for ways to get back sooner! See ya soon Garza Blanca, thank you for everything you did to make this trip ((again)) so special for us!!!

By the way, after I wrote this review I realized I had left some valuable earrings in a drawer in the hotel room. Not only did Garza Blanca confirm them still being there, but the head butler, Fidel, who was truly amazing the entire trip, sent me a personal email explaining how they would be arriving and that we were already missed. I was so touched by the gesture, I couldn't believe either the integrity/accountability or the sweetness of the personal gesture. Very few places in the world have people like this.!.!.

Garza Blanca is the most beautiful, accommodating and relaxing resort I have ever been to. Everyone at the resort is nice and always smiling. Seems like they will do anything to make you happy. I stayed here for my birthday with my mom aunt and grandma and it was great. The food was amazing at every restaurant and we never got tired of the food because there were many things to chose from. At the pool side snack bar, the food was fresh and great. there were light and filling options on the menu. the restauraunt blanca blue was great for dinner. Oscar served us the first night and the other time we came back for just dessert(their dessert is the best) Oscar was so nice each time and even brought us something special to try even though we didn't order it. He also reccommended to try drinks that we wouldn't have ordered. He was great. The restaurant Bocados(I'm not sure if thats the name) its the new one that is meats and small bites, was amazing as well. We were served by 3 men but Renee( i think that was his name) was so sweet. He had been working at the garza for 3 days and was so happy about working there which made me really happy for him. He was also checking on us every 10 minutes making sure we were okay.He also recommended that we go see the rhythem of the night show and explaining it to us.. The next morning he was working at blanca blue for breakfast. Every worker was amazing and so kind. they really cared about if we were enjoying our time.
All in all, if you want to be treated like royalty, stay at the Garza. They have some of the nicest people in the world working there.

Room Tip: Make sure you chose a room that says "ocean front" if you chose one that says "ocean view", it will take you 10 minutes to get to the beach from your room. if that bothers you, make sure to chose ocean front and you can walk to the beach in 1-2 minutes.

It's expensive, but it's worth every penny. There are no rooms, only super suites; some even with a Jacuzzi in your own terrace.
Very private and about 15 minutes away from down town. The breakfast buffet is very good and we always had lunch in their beach at fair prices.
Incredible views from everywhere.

Room Tip: If you are traveling with family, it's worth to ask them to show you different suites. You could all fit in one !

If you want to be away from the bustle of town and like smaller resorts this is a really lovely spot. The facility is really first rate, and the value for the rooms is amazing. The staff is polite and helpful, but this isn't a 5 start spot as many here rate it. The staff has little knowledge of anything off site. The check in procedure is a joke. The restaurants are empty largely because they are so expensive, and want to be "international" rather than local. There are tons of servers and such, but it was hard to get a drink, then they would chase you down to sign the tab. This isn't a big place, but they cant keep track of guests. I'm being picky here only as so many folks tend to rate places 5 stars as if this is the Four Seasons. It isn't, but it is terrific and I would go back in a second. Just know you need to do your own research on things to do outside the hotel, etc.
