Location - great. Steps from the beach. Steps from downtown.
Rooms - simple, clean, hot water, beds are firm. Ask for a cushion.
Food - pretty good. Each meal had a mix of Mexican and American.
Service - excellent. Waiters were very courteous. Same with towel/chair staff.
Frills - none. No nightly entertainment. Bars close at 10. I believe you could sign up to join groups going out to nearby restaurants for parties. That's fun for kids but not seniors.
Gays - probably 50% of the guests were gay. Accross the street is a gay massage parlour and the beach to the left is 100% gay, offering gay cruises. Some travellers might be bothered by that. I personally found it quite humourous listening to two guys in speedos talk about how fabulous their cruise was. LOL.
