We did an RCI exchange into Los Tules and were treated wonderfully. We were upgraded from a studio to a one-bedroom which is definitely condo size with three balconies, including one that was about 1000 sq ft! (We were there during the shoulder/hurricane season). It was a two-story with the kitchen/LR/bath and large balcony on the top floor and the two smaller balconies, bathroom & bedroom on the ground floor with a spiral stair case. Unfortunately, we arrived during Hurricane Jova and there was so much rain we weren't able to enjoy the balconies or the pools for much of the week. The grounds are huge & beautiful. Our first night, after returning from dinner, we got lost! Our room was well appointed, with everything we needed, including kitchen equipment. Water was furnished free (unlike some other resorts we stayed during our month in PV). Wifi was free at the restaurant. The pools were clean and in good shape. The grounds are well kept. There was always work going on (our concrete stairs were being refurbished). It was very quiet when we were there - the neighbor below us and beside us were both condo owners. We were the only timeshare folks staying in our building. We were told that the resort has five owners (time share, privately owned condos, a rental company and ????). The location was perfect - directly across from Plaza Caracol and Soriana for groceries.

Hotels.com is one of many sites that offers this older large complex at the beach. the complex is managed by 3 different hotel groups, time shares and individual ownership.
i booked the cheapest room and was upgraded to a very nice large kitchen unit with large terrace but NO BEDS ! the room had 2 concrete slabs with foam on top - if you are 100 pounds or larger you won´t be happy. Also a couple ca not sleep together on one of the two concrete slabs. Otherwise the complex has 6 pools and a nice green surounding, several aerea of the long stretch of the beach have beach chairs. Restaurant too. i stayed in complex number 19 room 19501 - on the 3rd floor overlooking the ocean with 2 lounge chairs and table with 4 chairs on the patio. MeuterMedia

There is a disco right next door to the Los Tules complex. From midnight to 5 AM you are NOT able to sleep. Need lots of ear plugs and something to get rid of the all night long vibration and LOUD music and screaming. No matter what unit you are in and how loud you run your air conditioner and TV in your unit, there is no stopping the noise from the Disco. As an owner of two weeks with Los Tules time share, I will NOT be returning after coming for the past 28 years. Good bye relaxation and my vacation dream. No more will I return to Los Tules, Puerto Vallarta, Mx.

Room Tip: Bring LOTS ear plugs. Get use to the vibration of the music and screaming noise. Need to sleep during the day because you are up ALL Night LONG.

Had a wonderful time there. Geat, unobtrusive support staff. The concierge service were able to make suggestions based on their own and other guests experiences that greatly increased our own. No pressure, just asking questions to narrow down the list of what we would enjoy. We checked out each of the 8 pools and the restaurant on site served wonderfully delicious food, with a waiter that upon learning it was our 18th anniversary, sang a beautiful love ballad to us in Spanish. We ate at that restaurant on the first night we arrived there and asked for the password for their wifi and used it all week long. The property is right on the beach, close to both downtown and a short ride to Bucerias. All the staff had smiles on their faces and stopped to answer any questions we had. It was sad to leave there, Nora (concierge) went above and beyond to help us. My only complaint is that the mattresses are hard. Other than that, the kitchen was fully equipped for our use, the rooms were clean and spacious, and Soriana (the supermarket across the street) was very convenient for purchasing food and any other items that we needed. For the un adventurous taxis are right around the corner, but there are also bus stops in both directions right in front of the property.

I had a time share at Los Tules for many years. I put up with the poor service, shoddy maintenance of the infrastructure and less than forthcoming staff and management for many years because the location was convenient. This year, I could not stay in my Los Tules timeshare week because they told me that the bank has reposessed the building. I have spoken to Los Tules management to no avail. In any case, they are still trying to rope people in to buy timeshares here. Don't buy here, don't stay here. I can't work the lamps in the bedroom. They are doing construction at the pool, the beaches in front of the "resort" are dirty. It seems like they are trying to scare away guests so that they can"reposess " the rest of the entire property and sell it to build a high-rise.

Room Tip: If you want a good room, go to another resort.
