We really loved this wonderful restaurant which was set in a beautiful garden always with live music to accompany dinner. the prices were very reasonable and the food excellent. Sadly it is now closed as is typical here in Puerto Vallarta, when a restaurant is successful the landlord jacks up the rent.

We had read great things about this place since it opened last year so four of us decided to take a cab and give it a try. The location is somewhat remote, inland toward the hills, in a traditional Mexican neighborhood. There are no other restaurants or tourist attractions nearby so the neighborhood retains a real old time pv flair. The cobblestones have not yet been cemented in place. The restaurant is situated in an old house and it truly beautiful. We sat in the open courtyard surrounded by lush vegetation. Our first problem came when the wine we selected was not available and the waiter recommended one that was triple the price. We settled for one at 400 pesos, only slightly above our first selection.

The menu is quite interesting...Mexican food with an updated twist, but the prices were too high for the area. For our group, we started with 2 soups and one order of chorizo empanadas. All were good, but just average. For the main course two of us ordered the Pozole Mariscos at 185 pesos which was listed as containing shrimp, octopus, calamari and fish. Instead, it had 4 shrimp and 4 miniscule clamshells (no clams to be found). The broth was tasty but this dish was more like a first course. My husband had Pollo Revolucion which was very dry and and little flavor. The 4th dish was one of the tuna offerings and it was cold when it arrived. Service was good but at these prices you can get a great meal in town and save the cab fare
