I found this place by chance and it was a very nice surprise to find such an authentic Andalosian restaurant in Vallarta!
The food was fresh and they had a great range of dishes and tapas.
The staff were very relaxed and friendly
The atmosphere was magical since there was live music (guitar)
And the prices were very reasonable.
I higly recomend this restaurant

We were there in October of 2012. The place looked closed. Large and empty. Then we spotted a couple on the terrace. The view was limited to the close by trees, the tops of the shop huts and a glimpse of the river. The waiter (owner?) came rushing over. Nice guy. "Sit anywhere" he told us. Not a whole lot of setting options. Big open floor was for the dancers that would be there (maybe) during high season? We over ordered Tapas and Paella on the terrace. One or the other would have been enough. The food came quickly. Right after the pitcher of Sangria. Not much interesting about any of it. No effort or presentation. Pretty good value. But nothing of Spain or Mexico except a few things hanging from the wall. No music.. It appeared the staff (little that there was) was taking care of family interests. An off night? With all the choices in old town, it is surprising that they are still in business.

We found this hidden gem in Puerto Vallarta last year. If you need a break from all the great mexican food in the area you have to try this place. Be open to try new flavors, this place is neither americanized not mexicanized. It has authentic spanish flavors from octopus and shrimp to pork loin, chorizo and of course Paella!. The owners are very nice and will be glad to explain the different dishes. Great value for your money.

Our family is so happy we stumbled upon this place while on our vacation. We dined here for lunch with three adults and two children under three and had the place to ourselves on a very hot saturday afternoon. The upstairs dining room was a cool and quiet respite from the busy market below. We tried the potatoes and delicious crispy chorizo, green beans, battered fish, and paella. It was all very delicious and our only regret was that we were not hungry enough for more. We will be back on a another trip for sure!

What a great change of pace from all the other great food choices in Puerto Vallarta. My wife and I, my parents and our two kids ( 5 & 7 ) arrived on a Sunday afternoon around 430 pm. We were not sure how we would be received at such an odd hour, late for lunch, early for dinner. We were the only people there at that time and the owner could not have been more welcoming and inviting. We explained that we wanted to try a little of everything. He graciously walked us through ordering a sample of favorites and items that would pair well. He started us with a small sample of the Spanish Tortilla, while the kitchen got going. Our intent was to eat early and light. All six of us walked out completely full and satisfied, all for only $725p. Kids even got ice cream. Yummy.
