This is primarily a restaurant intended for take-out although there are a few tables and chairs outside under a big beautiful tree. I have been following the chef that planned the menu for this place and he is truly a star who comes up with unusual, beautiful and tasty combinations.
They serve Cerviche in approximately eight different styles. First you choose the base (vegetarian, tuna, shrimp, etc). then you choose the style you want. There are 3 permanent styles (traditional which is jicaima, onions, green chilies, cilantro, and mixed citrus juices...and two others). Five other options are give according to the seasonal ingredients. The night I was there they offered mango, coconut, banana, pomegranate and other kinds of Cerviche. They also offered 3 types of empanadas--all with a seafood base.
Prices are very reasonable. They offer 8 cones with each full take out order (they have 1/2 orders also) so that you take home the Cerviche, fill the cone with it and serve...so cute and beautiful (not to mention impressisve). You can buy a board with holes in it and use it to put the little cones in for serving if you want to use this often.
Beware when you are looking for this place as there are two Av. Los Tules...take the road that goes past Costco going away from the water...pass Costco and after you cross the main street (the first one after Costco) watch for the restaurant on the left (I did not think the street was called Av Los Tules but perhaps it is). It is small and tucked away on your left by the bank (behind the bank). There is parking.
I have never had better Cerviche anywhere. (I usually don't even like Cerviche but this changed my mind)
