My wife and I thought this would be a great shore excursion with our teenage kids during our cruise to Mexico. It looked o be promising, cool ship, great looking pirate actors.
We got on the ship and went below deck for breakfast...cereal, really???? Then we went above deck for the pirate show which was cool. A long hour and a half later, crossing Banderas Bay we get to the beach. The beach was small and there had to be 200 of us...crowded. There were only three, two person kayaks, so not all people who wanted to get on one could...my kids and me included.
The water was warm and beautiful, but you couldn't swim in it due to all the jellyfish.
We only were on the beach for an hour and a half before we had to get back in the pirate ship for the longgggg hour and a half trip back to the dock.
Another pirate show on the way back. I do have to give it to them, the pirate shows were cool.
We had lunch on the way back and it was good.
Too much time on ship and not enough in beach. It's definitely not worth the money.
