“Delightful holiday in this house and the surrounding area”
Reviewed 6 March 2018 for a stay in January 2018

A delightful property a few blocks away from shopping, restaurants, beaches. Views of the ocean, Mexican town and mountains. Quiet. Restful. Also close to bars and nightlife. Landord is terrific. He is always available and ready to help with anything.
House is well equipped with quality bedding. Cleaning is perfect. We really appreciated the property, the area, the landlord and can't really say anything negative at all. We loved it

“Excellent Home Makes for a Memorable Trip”

We have never rented a home before for a vacation. Normally we stay at hotels. I have to say that Claus put together a fabulous home. Stunning views with all the comforts to relax and take in Puerto Vallarta. We had a very active time while there so it was great to come back to a place like Villa Europa to wind down, sleep comfortably only to wake up and explore some more. Claus is a gentleman and fantastic to work with.

“Nice stay”

Had a great stay at Vila Europa. Claus is a great host and easy to reach while staying st the Vila. The house is very large and was clean and neat. It was very warm during our stay but the mini split A/C units work very well. Do not worry too much about the extra charge for the use. We paid only 35 dollars US for 6 nights stay. The views from both balconies are very nice. There is construction going on in the area, but nothing too disturbing. The hill is steep but there are stairs on the sides of the street for use. We lost power one night for a few hours, but it was from an iguana getting into a transformer down the street, it is Mexico so interesting things can happen! I would definitely recommend this property to yhose wishing to avoid the hotels and experience Mexico more closely.

“Villa Rental”

I had an amazing time at the Villa. It was as spacious and gorgeous as the pictures. The pool was a bit smaller than it seemed, but the hospitality and the proximity to the boardwalk was perfect. Everything we wanted in a short vacation was achieved. Thank you Claus! It was awesome.

“European luxury with views in Centro location”

Just south of the hotel zone, a few blocks up a hill from the beach, this house is comfortable and well appointed. It is arranged on multiple levels; the upper floor has a porch with a hot tub and a living room with big flat screen. Half-flight down to great kitchen, another porch, dining area, utility and laundry rooms. Next half-flight down is a nice king bedroom with private bath, garage, and the entrance. Next -half-flight down is a sitting area that can convert to sleeping, the pool area (pool is not for laps, but great for a soak while enjoying the view), and the master suite with walk-in closet, double shower, bathroom, and the 2nd king bedroom. There is more further down (although not part of the rental for the four of us) - another king bedroom, bathroom, private entrance, and more. Works very well for families, 1-4 couples, groups, etc...

The owner, Claus, was very nice. His english was perfect, and he was very helpful in getting us settled, even though we showed up earlier than planned.

The area is not overrun with tourists, but it was a short walk to great restaurants, the market, banks, taxis or the busses. The romantic zone was a short trip by taxi, bus, or about a 20 minute walk along the waterfront.

There was virtually no road noise. There were some occasional barking dogs, and a rooster in the morning, but it was generally a very relaxing place to just hang out. Evenings in April were cool and comfortable, and the house, which faces north, stayed comfortable during the day. We did not need the a/c at all.

Technology: Very good kitchen gear. Good water filter (no problems with drinking from it) Combo washer/dryer got the job done. Wifi was reliable but on the slower side (not really up to streaming video). Lots of flat screens with cable including Apple TV but you don't want to waste your time watching movies anyway, do you? Phone with US calling. I have TMobile which got a strong signal and free voice/data/text in Mexico.

A good bet if you are looking to be away from other tourists but want to be comfortable. Recommended.

We absolutely loved the house! The rooms are spacious, the living areas are very welcoming, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The pool and the jacuzzi were just what we needed after a day at the beach. The beach is a very short drive from the house. Quiet and quaint neighborhood with local shops, bakery and markets nearby. I'd definitely rent this house again!
