“Incredible atmosphere”
Reviewed 3 April 2014

I really like the restaurant because of its incredible atmosphere and outstanding service. Live music, wonderful green patio in the fresh air where you can feel like in a luxary home, nice people, great design. They might need to have a bit more vegetarian food, but even the simple vegetarian things that they can offer and inprovizations of their cheff are just great! In short words Thank you, Coconuts´ stuff for your incredible atmosphere!"

Awesome place, delicious dinner and excellent service. We had a great time. Thanks to our favourite waiter Abraham for the amazing dessert show :-) And don´t miss the fabulous drinks at the bar. Professional bartenders, great entertainment and a lot of fun! Thanks to Alejandro y Mario. We can´t wait to come back :-)

“Outstanding Every Time”
Reviewed 27 March 2014

Coconuts Restaurant has a Simply Marvelous Atmosphere, Food, Presentation, Service, Entertainment. Coconuts and the Staff have been one of the highlights of my time in Zihua. Juan Pablo runs everything like clockwork, he implements all you can imagine to make your dining experience a pleasurable event. Each time I have ordered a dish it was excellent, fresh, and the presentation was lovley, not to mention how savory and yummy. My favorites are the palm of hearts salad, the porch chops and the coconut shrimp. The caliber of music has been superb as well. I would highly recommend Coconuts in Zihuatanejo, either to sit at the bar or eat in the open air dining, it's an experience for all the senses. Do go, relax, enjoy, have a drink and let them take care of you. Thank you Juan Pablo and Staff ~ see you all next year and thanx, gina

“Coconuts Revisited”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

Just this week I ate at Coconuts twice......yes twice. Why? The service as usual was impeccable. The offerings range from fish through a wide range of meats and a very fine chile rellenos. Back on the menu is the avocado and black olive salad with fresh basil.......I had it both times! It is a wonderfully refreshing way to start your meal. The grilled red snapper whether done with lemon and caper butter sauce or with "a complex red wine sauce" is sensational. For dessert the flambés made tenderly at your table are exotically delicious.
And this restaurant set in one of the most historic buildings in Zihat is also one of the prettiest garden restaurants in town.

“Not your typical Mexican Restaurant”
Reviewed 15 March 2014

This open air restaurant in the heart of Zihuatanejo is a great find. The service and food were excellent with a wide variety of choices. Fresh whole lobster is available as is a variety of shrimp, fish and meat dishes. Be prepared to pay more than almost anywhere in town but you won't be disappointed in the quality of food. At the end of the meal we were treated to quite a show as the waiters prepared Spanish coffee at the table and had the flaming brandy pour through 4 glasses starting from a waiter on a chair and ending at the table.
