If you don't care about being right on the beach, this is a great location--in a residential neighborhood close enough for an easy walk to the beaches, far enough from town to be quiet. Our studio was modest, but clean and comfortable. We had a kitchenette, so could make coffee, make our own ice cubes for drinks, and pick up a papaya at a local market and breads from the bakery around the corner for breakfast. The wireless internet access was exceptional from our room, the pool was a welcoming spot on a hot afternoon, and our host, Edison (who speaks English), was very helpful. Our air conditioning worked great. Unfortunately, that of our daughter and her family who were with us did not, so they hung out with us a lot. The showers had hot water, but were kind of wimpy but hey, this is Mexico.
