We went there exclusively for OAXACA food since the owner is from OAX. Everything we tried was great! Flavorful and she was kind to let us try her homemade jelly.

(We hard trouble finding the place, we walked by, no sign and it was closed couple of hrs. a day.)

Wonderful chile relleno, mahi mahi with saffron sauce and coconut flan that is the best. Breakfasts are hearty and inexpensive. Great ambience, warm people, you need to try this!!!!

Food was great! Menu changed somewhat daily. Doris our restaurant greeter was very friendly. It's a very small restaurant and we almost didn't stop as it didn't catch our eye for some reason. A couple who were seated there spoke to us and said someone on the golf course in Ixtapa told them about it. We ate there a couple of times in the 2 week stay.
Ita comes out and chats with you before you leave.

We were enticed by Doris walking by, and had dinner here, the food was very good, the chief came out at the end of dinner to greet us.
We ate at a number of places in Zih, many along this street.
We rate this as Average, it was good, but there were many others we enjoyed more. But you will not go wrong stopping here for a meal.

We were looking for a place to eat on our first night in Zihuatenjo. Walked down the street by Ita's. Someone down the street at another restaurant saw us looking and recommended Ita's. It was excellent. Very fresh and wonderfully prepared and presented. We both had fish dishes and they were great.
