I had been looking forward to returning there after a few great meals in Feb 2013. What a disappointment the food was awful and the waiter admitted he had been drinking before coming to work. The restaurant looks so inviting, great location and décor. Oh well I did find lots of great alternatives in Zihua

“Never a disapointment”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2014

Magnificent view of the bay and sunset. Fully flavorful food regardless of what you choose. Ate there three times in a month. Flaming sautés and desserts. Caesar salad made at the table. The owner is on the floor working every day and his wait staff is to be envied and let us not forget the beautiful voice of Patricia Carrion every night except Sunday.

Add all this to the fact that heartily support the annual Sailfest/Por Los Ninos to build schools and provide food for the poorest of Zihuatanejo's children and you have something special.

“Great place for a romantic dinner with an incredible view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 March 2014

My wife and I had dinner here last week (Saturday night) and really enjoyed it. Fantastic view over the bay, good service, excellent food, relaxing atmosphere and nice music. We got there early (around 6 pm) and got a nice table overlooking the Zihuatanejo bay. They had a nice Jazz singer who also played guitar.

Clearly one of the best views around and worth the extra price.

“Disappointing ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 February 2014 via mobile

We were anxious to return after having enjoyed a lovely evening here a year ago. It started out well when we were seated at a table along the rail overlooking the bay. Patricia Carrion sang & played her guitar beautifully. Jorge entertained while making our Caesar salad. Unfortunately, the salad was swimming, literally running with dressing. Probably enough for a salad of 6, rather than just us 2. Our dinners were both fine. The service? So frustrating it spoiled the evening. We'd been in Mexico for 2 weeks, were comfortable with things moving in "Mexican time" but this was extreme & unnecessary. There were only about 5 tables in the restaurant. Our server spoke no English which is not typically problematic & after all, we were in Mexico, but when we ordered desert he had no idea what we were talking about, even when we showed him our desert order written in Spanish on their menu, he didn't understand although he said he did. We waited, reminded him several times, he came back for clarification, we waited. Meanwhile Jorge was standing by, dancing alone to the music which I usually find charming but given we'd waited so long and still no desert - I wasn't finding Jorge charming at that moment. We finally asked our server for our bill which he brought rather quickly & fortunately it didn't include our desert. There are so many restaurants in the Zihua area - unlikely we'll return to this one next year.

“Amazing Avacado and Tuna”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 January 2014

We had this the first night and then repeated it in our condo two more times. They also do a great Cesear Salad at the Table. Service can be a bit slow, so go with that in mind and sloooow down if you want to go here.
