Walked past this place at least four times a day and decided near the end of our two week stay to try it out. Actually, we were quite happy to walk past and go to Ricomar when the street host told us that the KauKan chef would be cooking tonight and that they had huachinango on the menu. The place is very nice, a bit fancier than we are used to eating at in Zihua, and with a very professional wait staff working there. My wife ordered a rib eye (NP$140) and I had the snapper (NP$95). We started with a very good ceasar salad (NP$50) and also ordered a couple of lime micheladas. The quality of the food was spectacular. I highly recommend that you do not walk past this place and step in to check it out.
