“Nice place & good service”
Reviewed 7 December 2012

Stayed at this location last week for business. For the price it offered good value and very good service. Being the time of the year I did not use the pool, but it looked very nice. THe hotel offered a very good breakfast, clean room and good internet service. The front desk staff was very helpful for a couple of questions I had.

We come often to this hotel from Mexico City. We usually take a long weekend that isn't one for Mexican people. Saturday mornings can be a bit hectic as many guests stay here if they are going to a wedding, but after the morning rush it is peaceful. Two lovely pools, beautiful vegetation and excellent music (not the loud rapper style) contribute to a comfortable stay. Staff is extremely nice and call you by your name which is a nice touch. Lunch service is a bit slow but food is excellent . Try their sopa de fideo seco - a kind of noodle with tomato pasta - an absolute delight!

I stayed at Fiesta Inn last weekend, we arrived pretty late at night and I was not given the Single room as I requested, so we had a 2 bed room, for the inconvenience, supposedly we were upgraded to the platinum floor, which included a 24 hr. coffee service outside of the elevator, THAT alone is the upgrade to the platinum floor, so there it was the coffee service outside the elevator, when we got to the room, there was an amenity (a single plate with an apple and 1 banana) and a letter from the general manager for another guest, so obviously that was not my original intended room, so I went to front desk to give the letter back, so no apology or nothing from them. The dinner buffet was really really bad, the only good dish was pasta alfredo prepared a la minute in an action station, all other food was really bad, they do have good meat but it has an additional cost from the buffet price. The waiters really don’t go the extra mile to excel in their service.
The general manager actually was at the restaurant when we were having dinner but did not see her go through asking about the service, which I suppose is not her work but could be a plus.
The next day we arrive at 1:30 am from an event and there was no coffee service out from the elevator, so it’s not really 24 hour service, so they should not promote it as if it was.
The location of the hotel is pretty good if you are going for 1 or 2 days, but honestly the rates are unbelievably high and not worth what you are paying for, there are many small hotels inside of Cuernavaca with better rates.

I stayed for two nights this June at Fiesta Inn Cuernavaca. The hotel was crowded with families and weekenders; myself going to Cuernavaca for a wedding. Everything was spotless and comfortable, and personnel attentive and helpful. I had tried to cancel one night due to a last minute change; however the change was out of policy and I had to take both nights. It was Ok, given that the cancellation policy was clearly stated in my reservation e-mail.
I' taking one star off behind two reasons: one is that doors do not isolate outside noise very well. During the first night I woke up thinking someone was knocking at my door, when it was next door where they were knocking. The other one is food pricing. I arrived quite hunry, but I decided that I preferred the 5 minute drive to Galerías Cuernavaca given that food prices at the hotel were unbearable

Like any chain hotel, there are no surprises here, except for outstanding staff - shout out to Tiburcio at the pool who works hard all day to accommodate guests' wishes. Hotel rooms are average, but the food is good and there are two pools, one better than the other and the music is amazingly good. A great place to spend a weekend away. Not much to see around the hotel since it is basically for business, but a 50 peso cab ride gets you right downtown.
I would suggest to hotel that it is in need of a bit of an upgrade. We have been staying there for a long time now and you can see a bit of wear and tear in the rooms. Otherwise, a nice stay.

Room Tip: This is one of the few hotels that still have smoking rooms if anyone still smokes!

We stayed at the Fiesta Inn for 1 night, the place is OK, food is OK but what it's not ok are the prices. I'm sure for that money you can find a better hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the pool other wise your view will be a wall.
