We visited Jardin Borda three times while in Cuernavaca. The park has so much potential, the old growth trees, the fountains, the history and the original architecture all could make this a wonderful spot to visit and relax. The current renovations and archeological work in progress do add to the interest but the main feature of the site, the garden, remains a shamble.

Spent the afternoon at Borda Gardens. It is a very quiet place with a lot to see. Unfortunately as several other reviewers pointed out, it is in need of repair. But if you are in Cuernavaca and want to see a pretty place, this is a must see.

This is a quiet tranquil place in a busy city. It was probably gorgeous in its day but while they try to keep it up, the fountains don't fount and there are not a lot of flowers. It is worth visiting for the art galleries which are nice and to just walk around.

This garden is a nice sanctuary from the heat and noise of a busy urban area. There are fountains, flowers, wandering pathways and a small man-made pond for row-boating with your sweetheart. The air is noticeably cooler and as you walk deeper into the garden and find a nice quiet bench to relax near a fountain. Bring a good book and plan to spend an hour of calm serene enjoyment.

Once upon a time, this garden was undoubtedly gorgeous. Unfortunately, the maintenance is virtually nil and apparently has been for some time. Not only have the plants been neglected but the hard surfaces are crumbling and cracking. For those who love historical nostalgia, this will be a hit. Or if you like getting into things for free (if they charged for admission, maybe they could do at least a little maintenance). Otherwise...
