This hotel, has beautiful views, peacocks are wandering out there and make the place look peaceful, the food at the restaurant has a good taste -very expensive-, but good.

One can take a walk, for example, after having breakfast and makes you feel good. Rooms are comfortable.

It's located right in downtown which makes it a colonial place, you can take a walk downtown, but I must accept..., all one has to drive from the highway to the hotel, it's not a cool view, one can see poverty -which is easyly forgoten once one arrives.

Employees are very kind and ready at all times to help with whatever you might need.

Enjoy you stay!!

You can tell this was once a beautiful hotel with real old world charm. However, it is like a once beautiful woman who is not aging very well. It is in serious need of an update to bathrooms, beds and furniture. This hotel is not up the standards one expects for Relais y Chateau hotels and makes me wonder when they were last on site at this property.
If you can get this at a low rate, then don't hesitate, but you should look for other Cuernavaca hotels if they are quoting high nightly rates. There are many beautiful hotels in the city that are no doubt better updated than this.

The hotel itself is beautiful, you feel in your own old mansion.. The attention of the staff both in the restaurant and hotel and spa is excellent, food is delicious and they basically obligate you to enjoy amd relax each time... The hydrotherapy circuit in the spa is a most to complete the experience!!

I have been coming to Las Mananitas since the 1960s. It remains one of the most wonderful places there is . All things change, and some things are different. The menu boards seem to have vanished, but the garden with its wonderful seating amongst the tropical birds, and the drinks the food remain outstanding. The lavish botanas are still served with the drinks, and the menu must be one of the most elaborate there is anywhere. The rooms vary, and some aren't that good, but others are outstanding. Staff is very personal. A recent review by a person who seems to only write bad reviews is just not true. Some say it is expensive, and it is not cheap, but by contrast our sparser breakfast at the Mexico City airport cost as much as the lavish essentially all-you-could eat one as Las M. The peace and quiet are a plus. Highly recommended. T

Room Tip: Cheaper rooms can be noisy as they are near the kitchen and restaurant.

I,ve been living in Mexico City for 35 years and Las Mañanitas, as a restaurant, has been a favorite with regular visits 3-4 times a year for special occasions. The last time, for dinner on my wife's birthday, it turned out to be a real disappointment. Before you were offered a seat either in the garden (cooler because of the grass) or on the terrace. Botanas were brought with your drinks without asking. Also the blackboard with the menu was set up to consider and discuss while having your drink. On the last occasion we were seated on the terrace with a "take it or leave it" attitude. First the drinks came and, after asking and insisting twice, the botanas finally came after abut 30 minutes. The classic menu has been changed and many favorites aren't there anymore. The food was absolutely below standard. Greasy, tepid and over-salted. Also the kind of customers seems to be on par with the inferior food standards. Loud and heavy drinkers.
Maybe the waiter had a bad-hair day. But hey, if you don't like your job go and clean windshields. On my birthday we went to Sir Winston Churchill's in Mexico City, saving us a 1-hour trip to Cuernavaca to be disappointed. No matter what they do at Las Mañanitas, I'll NOT be back.

We stopped here for lunch with a tour group from San Miguel de Allende to visit Cuernavaca. I must say that the restaurant was one of the best food experiences my wife I had. Do not miss a chance to eat at this 5 star restaurant.

Eating here is a wonderful experience. You first order a drink and sit on lawn chairs surrounded by peacocks and exotic birds. Free finger food is provided. After you order, and the menu is quite extensive, you are seated in the restaurant when the food is ready. The servings are plentiful, and the price is quite reasonable. We had a large lunch for 3 including drinks for $62. It is worth wondering around. There is an adjacent pool and garden area on one side, and another garden with a koi pond. We did not stay in the hotel, but I understand that people routinely travel from Mexico City to Cuernavaca just to dine here. It is certainly worth the trip, and I'm looking forward to going back.
