“One of the few real cantinas, and a classic one!”
Reviewed 3 April 2014 via mobile

I agree with other posts, you WILL be overwhelmed when you go in, but this is it, the real cantina, as they were common in Mexico. If you are in downtown Guadalajara, you HAVE to stop by, have a shot of tequila and a cold beer. This is no 'bar', and a must!

“A must visit.”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

Don't be overwhelmed when you walk in - it's a crazy place. There are lots of old guy's having drinks (and some women too) and maybe a piano playing and then the crowd joins in - awesome. Great drinks and the coldest cervezas we had in Mexico. Try a classic Paloma.

“Good stuff”
Reviewed 6 November 2013 via mobile

Walked straight past it missed it the first time then had another go and found it. This is a simple place to come and have a drink and is great to drop into for one or a few bevies.

We can't speak Spanish, but the staff were very nice and the prices were great!

Need a break from your shopping or sight seeing, go to this place!

“A true Cantina”
Reviewed 20 December 2012

This is a true Mexican Cantina, one of the oldest in Guadalajara! A wonderful mix of locals, old and young from all walks of life....music and singing as you would imagine in a cantina! Cheap beer, overall wonderful atmosphere..this is not a hipsters place, this is Mexico!
