“Great afternoon cerveza break...”
Reviewed 10 May 2014

We met the owner's daughter at their next-door restaurant and she gave us a tour. She speaks English, Spanish and German and was a delight! Great place to duck out df the chaos!

“Thee best bar in Guadalajara!”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

I seldom write reviews, however this bar compelled me to pick up my pen and paper, well keyboard. This bar is the quintessential Mexican cantina. Try the local beer and an old fashioned Paloma. The experience will transform you, although that may be the tequila, either way you will not regret stopping by this rustic bar!

“One of the few real cantinas, and a classic one!”
Reviewed 3 April 2014 via mobile

I agree with other posts, you WILL be overwhelmed when you go in, but this is it, the real cantina, as they were common in Mexico. If you are in downtown Guadalajara, you HAVE to stop by, have a shot of tequila and a cold beer. This is no 'bar', and a must!

“A must visit.”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

Don't be overwhelmed when you walk in - it's a crazy place. There are lots of old guy's having drinks (and some women too) and maybe a piano playing and then the crowd joins in - awesome. Great drinks and the coldest cervezas we had in Mexico. Try a classic Paloma.

“Good stuff”
Reviewed 6 November 2013 via mobile

Walked straight past it missed it the first time then had another go and found it. This is a simple place to come and have a drink and is great to drop into for one or a few bevies.

We can't speak Spanish, but the staff were very nice and the prices were great!

Need a break from your shopping or sight seeing, go to this place!
