Found the Spanish hacienda style of the hotel very beautiful and homey. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast buffet fantastic - perhaps the best selection I have ever seen. Downside for me - no gym, and you kinda feel like in the middle of nowhere, so walking in the area is not really an option. If you want to check out local sites you have to drive a bit. But the city is great.
Pool is small and cold, and there is a downside if you have older travelers, or persons with disabilities as there are quite a bit of stairs and it can be a little confusing at times navigating yourself around the property. It is probably great for those who just want a bit of a getaway.More
