“another options for vegetarians”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 May 2013

The falafel sandwich I got was tasty and fresh. Nothing to write home about, but this is Mexico, which is not known for falafel. The menu is limited, but all vegetarian and mostly vegan. The people were friendly and the food was satisfying.

“it's great to discover unusuall food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2013

It's a very small place close to Teatro Principal. Sometimes when you have enough of mexican food and you just want something different thats the place to go. Falafel is decent and unexpensive. I wouldnt eat falafel every day but if you go from time to time im sure you can enjoy.

“A nice departure from boring everyday meals.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2013

Been there twice, both times the food was very good, the falafel sandwiches are my favourite but lentil soup is very good too, the service is somewhat slow but they have a lot of interesting magazines to read while you wait; IMHO this is an outstanding value and I don't go there as often as I would like only because my GF does not like garlic that much but mainly because she is a diehard meateater.

“good vegan food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 February 2013

We had the large plate with 4 choices (hummus, tabuleah, dolmas and falafels). It came with pita bread and 3 different sauces and 2 oils. It was $110mx and enuf food for 2 people. You ge to relax in this small place (couple bar stools looking at the kitchen, 3-4 tables and 2 sofas) and listen to music while your food is being prepared. If you want, you can order to go.
University age people came in and ordered the falafel sandwiches to go.
The service was good and the staff friendly. They even suggested a couple of vegan places for us to try.

“tasty, affordable and a change of pace from Mexican!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 January 2013

The owner provides a limited but delicious and delightful and delightful middle eastern menu. Choices include, falafel, hummus, stuffed grape leaves and tabouleh. Everything is freshly made and the recipes are wholesome, healthy and tasty. The menu is very affordable and its a great little spot. Highly recommended!
