“Comfort Zone”
Reviewed 20 March 2013

Handy to have a Starbucks right in the center of town next to Jardin de la Union. We were staying at a hosteleria close by and it was perfect to walk their in the mornings for a cup of coffee or chai. Friendly servers even if they don't speak English.

“Who cares?”
Reviewed 12 December 2012

It seems like everybody who reviewed this place loves it. All I can say is that you can find do a lot better in Guanajuato. I don't care for chains -- the atmosphere is mediocre and the coffee the same. You can do a lot better at any of the smaller cafes in town. Support the local economy, please! Of course the location is perfect. right in the Jardin Union.

“Overpriced, as ever with American chains in Mexico.”
Reviewed 12 December 2012 via mobile

Expensive, cant see the point. They do give away used coffee as free fertilizer, though.
They also give two big tea bags with each cup so you can easily pull one out & save it for later, which improves the value vastly. Otherwise it gets way too strong anyway.
Sadly, it offers a unique service in Gto. We just need a cheaper Mexican equivalent.

“Always good”
Reviewed 21 November 2012

We ate at a local restaurant and I ordered some coffee. The food was great the coffee was terrible, it was nescafe. I wasn't aware that this beautiful historical city had a hidden gem: Starbucks. One thing for sure you know you're going to get a great cup of coffee. The place blends with its surroundings so it's hard to notice unless you stumble across it.
