“OK Hotel”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

This is an all-suite hotel. Rooms are well appointed and spacious. Location is great! Lobby is very small and breakfast area gets really crowded (there are about 14 seats). Staff is friendly but not reliable for wake up calls or taxi reservation for the airport. Overall, an OK hotel for the price paid (about USD 90/night).

Stayed at this hotel in Dec 2013. Incredable deal! Never had such a great hotel for the price. 100 feet away from Reforma. Nice area, clean hotel, perfect rooms! We were on the 8th floor. Not too noisy despite being so close from Reforma.

I highly recommend this hotel. They also have a breakfast place but never had breakfast at the hotel. Tons of restaurant around!

Love Mexico City!

From Canada!

Room Tip: We were on 8th floor, might be more noisy if you are on a lower floor. Extremely clean and upgrade...

Zona Rosa walking distance from historical centre and museums and subway station though the staff will not give you directions to public transport (tourists move by taxi). Rooms not large but comfortable.

The hotel is located near zona rosa you can walk ...it is a gay zone. At the reception they do not speak good english..the rooms are nice i had a suite but the lobby and breakfast room are bad...not a 5 star hotel. Just 1 elevator...and if it breaks down you have to climb the steps all the way up...i was on the 9th floor. I BELIEVE you can get much better for the price that it costs.

I would rate this hotel "average" if it wasn't for the blue/white lighting throughout the hotel, starting with a particularly glaring one in the reception area... for whatever reason they chose to install cool compact fluorescent bulbs and white LED bulbs, which make the rooms feel cold and clinical. Could easily be changed...

A few other negatives: I don't need 500 thread count sheets, but these were particularly rough and unpleasant; the ironing splattered dirty water on my shirt; when I ordered room service from the menu, they ended up ordering the same items from an outside restaurant for double the price; it took more than an hour to deliver, and when I refused to sign the exorbitant bill the room service guy wanted to take the food away (they added it to my total bill anyway, and fixed it only at my insistence at check-out); finally, they forgot my wake-up call in the morning when I left, which -- had I not set up a backup on my phone -- would have resulted in me missing my long-haul flight.

The good: very decent breakfast.

It is located at Reforma which is the most happening area of Mexico City. Very safe and in the vicinity of major historical monuments. Rooms are comfortable. The service is good. They serve excellent breakfast however there is no restaurant/coffee shop facility. The reforma area is very beautiful and is surrounded by many commercial premises and monument buildings.

In the heart of the Zona Rosa, and only a block from the subway, the location is perfect for anyone wanting the restaurants and nightlife in the Zona Rosa. You can walk to everything. The suites are large and in pretty good condition.
