“Condesa Haus is amazing...”

Condesa Haus is an incredible place to stay in Mexico City- it's unique and beautiful, located right in the middle of the trendy Condesa Neighborhood. Fernando, the owner, and his staff will make you feel right at home. These guys go above and beyond to make sure you experience is perfect (for what it's worth, I used to work in the hospitality industry and have fairly high expectations). Staying at Condesa Haus was definitely one of my favorite parts of the trip. My friend and I both agreed that the Porforio Room was the coolest room that either of us had ever stayed in. The roof top deck is perfect for lounging at the end of the day, or all day for that matter. Breakfast was informal and tasty and a great time to hit up Fernando for recommendations. He'll draw you a map and make sure you know exactly what to do. By the end of the trip we had a collection of his maps. Ask him about the history and themes of each room. Ask him about the restaurant in the cave behind the pyramid. Ask him to take you out for mezcal;) The property is an old estate that he and his partner tastefully modernized. Such a great place. I highly recommend Condesa Haus. Can't wait to go back someday!

Condesa Haus has everything: incredible staff, great location, stunning rooms, peaceful atomosphere, and charming people. We splurged and upgraded from a hostel to this wonderful place and I'm so happy we did. The staff (Alejandro, Alejandra, and Daniella) where all so knowledgeable and accommodating. They made everything very easy for us and didn't seem to mind our horrible Spanish!

Fernando, the owner, was indispensable. As a neighborhood resident he knew exactly where we needed to go to find anything. We were a 5 minute walk from the Metro, near lots of great shops, cafes, and restaurants. Throughout our trip we would spend our mornings sipping coffee at the communal table in the dining room and talk about our vague plans for the day and Fernando would take whatever idea we had and add to it with hand drawn maps, directions, and the most amazing insider tips about "off-the-beaten-path" sights. By the end of the trip I felt like we had more than just a comfortable stay: we made friends.
And the rooms! Don't even get me started on the rooms! We changed rooms midway through the trip so we got to see two of the most luxurious rooms I've ever been in. The lighting is great and the villa itself has so much charm and history to it (which, of course, if you ask Fernando about he will tell you everything there is to know). The Portofino room was my favorite, with big french doors facing the street, and a clawfoot bathtub by the bed! And the rooftop patio was open to everyone and wonderful as well.

I would recommend Caondesa Haus to everyone visiting Mexico City. Such a great place to stay and meet the best people.

Room Tip: Portofino room was INCREDIBLE but they are all different and have all their own unique charms so you...

Nice little place in a very nice area of Mexico City. The building looks just like an Spanish building, and the apartments are well decorated, with exquisite bathrooms, in a nice environment. Breakfast is served at room adjacent to Reception, and you can have the key of the entrance so that you do not disturb any one when coming back. The owner is very sympathetic, and used to live in the place. Thus, there is a full apartment at the B&B, with leaving room, etc, which you may request upon booking the reservation. This apartment has a nice balcony as well. However, if that one is rented or overpriced for you, the other rooms will do just as good! The neighborhood is the best in Mexico City, surrounded by bars and restaurants of all kinds. Overall, I rate this little hotel as one of the best options for those who would like a home away from home, on Business ou Pleasure Trips.

Condesa Haus with all the staff is a perfect place for your trip to Mexico City. The house itself has charm, personality and whatever you need, you'll get help to find it. Don't forget to check out the terrace! We where a group of six colleagues travelling and working together and after a while we had to move out of Condesa Haus to do work elsewhere. That was a ¨trauma¨:-) You can't get a more friendly, accurate and knowledgeable welcome anywhere. Whatever you need to know, the staff either knows or finds it out. Don't hesitate to book!

Room Tip: All rooms are different so looka at the pictures and ask questions when booking.

We stayed at Campeche Haus for 3 nights and it was simply amazing! It felt like a home away from home but even better. Not only was the apartment beautiful, clean and comfortable, the staff were every so helpful. The breakfasts were delicious, and in the afternoon we could recover from exploring the city on many of the balconies or head downstairs to the restaurant patio for a mescal break.

Fernando, the owner, went above and beyond to make our inaugural trip to Mexico city a memorable one. He knows all the hot spots to enjoy lunch and is full of tips on how to properly experience this bustling city. We left Mexico city full of tacos, good times and new friends! We can't wait til our next visit! We'll be staying at Campeche Haus again!

I had a great time here - Fernando, the host, was welcoming, and more than happy to have a glass of mescal with guests and talk about the city. Breakfast each day was brilliant, with a lovely Mexican woman serving up a range of options, including tortillas. The rooms were comfortable and there's a great balcony to sit at in the evenings, in an area that's accessible and packed with bars while staying quiet.

Originally we booked only two nights at Condsa Haus, but after arriving we decided to stay 3 extra nights - as the place was just charming, and Fernando the host was so friendly and accommodating to al our needs. The B&B is located in one of the most vibrant districts of Mexico City, with great cafes, shops and restaurants around.

I'd highly recommend it to anyone wishing to feel at home far away from home!
