“I tried breakfast here”

I really liked it, it was nice, comfortable and right in middle of the historical center. It was a great place for breakfast.

“Outside Patio Heaters”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 December 2012

The food at this cafe is fabulous, and very Mexican. We do not speak Spanish so the waiter was very helpful in trying to describe food to us. Given the late supper hours in Mexico City, we thoroughly enjoyed the propane heaters on the pation. They will catch your eye as you walk by on the pedestrian walkway, since the flame is enclosed in elongated capsules about 7 ft tall. Can't miss the cafe because of these wonderfully, warm flames. Ask for a seat adjacent to them - no extra charge.

“Passable breakfast, value reflected in quality of ingredients”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2012

Terrace buffet breakfast on a pedestrianized section of the Centro Histórico, 99 pesos for the buffet and it was just about OK, wide choice of not particularly choice morsels. Juice wasn't fresh squeezed, driest Milanesa in history, and the flavour of the Mole sauce on the enchiladas was plain odd, but fresh fruit was good, coffee decent, freshly made quesadillas also fine.

Hit and miss, and there will be better and worse around about.

Not as cheap as rated.
Sidewalk cafe
Good hangout on a pedestrian only street.
Fun people watching spot on weekend evenings.
Food average and good service.
