Fab spot, 5 mins walk from the central square. Very clean, excellent service, quiet, big room, well equipped (incl shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser, 3 x bath, hand & face towels), massive bed, free WiFi (altho a little hard to pick up on iPhones in the room - laptop fine though). Also free business centre with printer. Breakfast buffet included (it was ok, quite a bit of choice). The seafood restaurant attached was also very good (and pretty cheap). No extra costs which is always good. They promise 100% service satisfaction or something - and they deliver.
Check out Diego Rivera's murals at Secretariat Educacion Publica (or something), free and amazing (entrances is fairly non-descript, gards at a doorway, from one end, have to walk thru to see the bulk of the murals, just a few at the other end).

We had a pleasant stay at this well maintained hotel. The interior of the hotel is elegantly decorated with beautiful stained glasses and colonial taste tiles as well as the spacious room. The breakfast buffet had a lot to choose from and having a 24hr service of coffee/tea in the lobby was nice. We were also impressed that they offered a packed breakfast for the ones that didn't have time to eat at the hotel. The only downside was that our room (standard king) didn't have a safety box, so we had to ask the reception to keep our valuables.

We stayed 2 nights in this Hilton hotel.

It is absolutely perfect to visit the centre of the city, it is just 3 minute walk from the Zocalo.

Rooms are very nice, clean, free internet and free brekfast.

Lobby is very nice with a colored glass ceiling.

Price is absolutely good for a nice city centre hotel with breakfast.

I can only say that when hotel is full (it was on 30 and 31 December) breakfast area is a little small, but quality is good and we had it without problems.

The hotel is located in the Colonial Centre about three blocks from the zocalo. This is great if you are traveling as a tourist for site seeing. If you are traveling for business this is a bit far from and not the most convenient location. The hotel is in a beautiful colonial building and the rooms are very clean and modern although a bit small.
The bonus besides the fact that it is convenient location for exploring the historical centre is that there is free internet and complimentary breakfast. The hotel is convenient from the airport and shouldnt cost more than 150 Pesos (less than $15). For the convenience and the value as well as the very friendly and personal service I would definitely return. In fact I stayed there on two seperate occassions at both the beginning and end of my trip.

I have stayed here 3 or 4 times and really liked it each time. The rooms are wonderful - clean big, luxurious and comfortable in a beautiful building. Also the service is great, breakfast is ok but free and the staff are really helpful and nice. It is in a great spot only a few blocks from everything in the Centro. This is a really great quality hotel that I would recommend to anyone, especially the suites.

The hotel is two blocks from the Zolaco (center square) where you can jump on the tourist buses and start exploring the city.

The front desk staff all spoken English and were exceedingly polite and helpful. The staff called for cabs and booked day tours for us.

The room was clean and quiet. Our room was facing the front, but the neighborhood is a quiet one after dark.

Free access to internet in the reception area.

Breakfast buffet provided you with a solid meal.

The water was out for about 6 hours one night. A minor inconvenience, but one nonetheless.
