That fact that when you check-in they give you a pair of earplugs pretty much says it all. Whatever you do, don't get a room on the first floor - If you do, there is no way you can sleep without excessive alcohol or sleeping pills.
After a sleepless first night, I begged them to move me to the second floor which they did.
The hostel itself is OK - It has no windows or natural light at all & the aforementioned bar is absolute chaos up until about 1am. Also, the "mattresses" are thin gym mats and quite uncomfortable.
On the up side, the breakfast is really good as is the location.
Staff were so so - There were a number of them and it was real hit & miss depending on who you spoke to: There were probably about 5 different ones working throughout my week there.More
