Hostel Amigo

I stayed at Hostel Amigo 3 nights, and it was not enough! It has a great atmosphere and an awesome place to meet fellow travelers. It was a little quite when I stayed, but I can only imagine the parties when the place is full!!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. My Spanish is woeful, but they were nice enough to help me out with the little I knew.
Thanks so much Hostel Amigo crew for giving me such a memorable experience!

Room Tip: Pay a few dollars extra for the comfort of a private room! But honestly the dorms are just fine!

Went to this place at Christmas last year. Friendly and helpful managers. Great location (close to Zocalo). The bathroom is clean. Bed is clean and comfortable. The only thing is a little bit noisy during night. They also have travel service for booking bus tickets, which is convenient.
Will definitely come back if traveling to Mexico city in the future.

Thankyou to Uri, Gabriel & Parco for making my stay @ amigo hostel so enjoyable : )

I don't usually leave reviews & this is long overdue..., but these guys deserve it. Welcoming, helpful, fun & genuinely friendly people. I had a great time!

The staff are all lovely, including the cooks & cleaners. Everyone is happy to assist with info, tutoring informally with spanish-was very useful having shortly arrived in Mexico. A home away from home.

Is beanbags, pool table, places to sit, read, write, chat, internet, wifi, bar in the evenings playing great mix of music, a good place to meet others.

I stayed here for several nights and none was as noisy with regard to the bar as described in other reviews. The room I stayed in faced the street and for that earplugs are indeed a real help. The bed was fine. Breakfast is basic but okay. The big plus in this place is the very friendly staff. In particular the people at the reception make you feel right at home. Very helpful, very friendly and always with an interest to chat a bit or to help with whatever question you might have.

The hostel is in a great location, a little noisy ( plumbing) and has good facilities. The only downside was their internet connection was down all week without any alternative which made booking our next flight extreamly difficult. Breakfast was basjc but tastey, theg could do with a coffee machine.
