We stayed her over Christmas with our three adult children. The hotel was an excellent base from which to see the sights of Mexico City and a welcome oasis of calm as we returned each day. Really comfortable rooms, fabulous lobby, bar and terrace, soothing spa pool and jacuzzi and very well equipped gym. Service was excellent and occasionally outstanding. Unfortunately this is another luxury hotel that perpetuates the pathetic practice of charging for Internet access in the room. It was a relatively small charge but it is still beyond me why otherwise excellent hotels still continue this petty practice. Also on Xmas Eve, with every restaurant in the City closed, the hotel could not accommodate us for dinner. Whilst they were highly apologetic and even arranged for a neighbouring hotel to take us, that experience was beyond awful. That apart, this was as good a city stay as you will find anywhere.
