“Historical University”
Reviewed 19 March 2014

This place is immense. You'll need a vehicle of some kind to get around the university's grounds. Many of the main attractions, including the library and the Olympic Stadium, can be seen from Avenida Insurgentes Sur, so the Turibus is a good option. Wander around the campus to see students, professors and people just playing with their dogs in the open areas.

“A city within the city”
Reviewed 31 January 2014

Ciudad Universitaria is the main campus of the most important university in Mexico. It has very iconic buildings such as the main library and the chancellor's office, which are decorated with beautiful murals. You can also visit the botanical garden, which is just a great place to walk around and truly relax. The campus also has two modern art museums, one in the main area of the campus and another one in what it's known as the University Cultural Centre. Here there are theatres, movie theatres and a concert hall. Right next to this area is the science museum, perfect for kids and adults alike.
You can spend pretty much all day here, there's a restaurant in the cultural area whose head chef is very well known.
Definitely worth a visit.

Don't really see why people love this site or why its a UNESCO heritage site. Spent a few hours here, maybe i just missed the highlight, or point.

“Great place to walk and look at 1950s architecture”
Reviewed 14 November 2013

It's huge though. The most rewarding wiew of mural tilings on main buildings. Not good places to eat inside but in the neighboorhood is plenty of nice lunch parlors.
