This visit was paired with the Olympic stadium. The campus here is famous for Juan O'gorman murals festooning the entirety of one building. As you make your way around the building to see all the mosaics, you will see the sad state of unkempt ness that plagues these grounds. It deserves a bit better care. Other buildings are just as colorful. Visiting this campus is a great way to spend the day. The property is very spacious. Bring your comfy shoes.

This is what you go for. Amazing that the whole site was completed in less than four years (in the late 1950s).

Architecture from the 50s, but unfortunately hasn't been given good maintenance. The students are very loyal and love their college commons though it could really use some maintenance...or basic cleaning.

This place is immense. You'll need a vehicle of some kind to get around the university's grounds. Many of the main attractions, including the library and the Olympic Stadium, can be seen from Avenida Insurgentes Sur, so the Turibus is a good option. Wander around the campus to see students, professors and people just playing with their dogs in the open areas.

Ciudad Universitaria is the main campus of the most important university in Mexico. It has very iconic buildings such as the main library and the chancellor's office, which are decorated with beautiful murals. You can also visit the botanical garden, which is just a great place to walk around and truly relax. The campus also has two modern art museums, one in the main area of the campus and another one in what it's known as the University Cultural Centre. Here there are theatres, movie theatres and a concert hall. Right next to this area is the science museum, perfect for kids and adults alike.
You can spend pretty much all day here, there's a restaurant in the cultural area whose head chef is very well known.
Definitely worth a visit.
