I stayed there just for 1 night since I was on a business trip. Good attention, nice bed and great shower. The minibar was filled with great things. Don't expect much on the TV. Friendly bellboy and taxi driver.

We stayed here for 6 nights while on a short tour to Mexico City. We had always wanted to go to Mexico City but had heard lots of stories about how dangerous it was so we booked a tour there and we had a few choices of hotels to stay in. We selected Fiesta Americana Reforma because it was on Avenue Reforma (the main street in the city, 22kms long) allowing us to see all the traffic, people and hear all the big city noises etc We don't have a problem sleeping with all the night noises etc
so we thought we were lucky to get a room on the eighth floor overlooking the avenue. We were satisfied with the hotel except for the restaurant. We had a meal one night, nothing flash plus a soft drink and it cost us more than we would ever spend at home for a meal unless it was a special birthday or anniversary meal. We found a supermarket and bought a few groceries and ate breakfast and a light tea in our room most days because we were out all day and had a fulfilling lunch then. There is a Starbucks below the hotel and so we were able to get a decent cup of coffee or tea when we needed one. We found the rooms to be okay although we were grateful that we could open the window to let the air in because the air conditioner didn't seem to work too well. The staff were all pleasant, friendly and very willing to help with any request. We felt very safe in the area although we did not venture down the backstreets after dark. (Just like the same precautions you take in your own city or town) We enjoyed our stay at this hotel..

I have a nice time in that hotel. My room had a great view and really huge king size bed. It was clean. Unfortunately, Internet is extra paid. They have a good staff at the front desk and in the concierge. Breakfast like in 4 stars hotels – very good

Fiesta Americana Reforma is not the newest, hottest hotel in town, but I couldn't go anywhere else just because of the service. No matter how bad was your traffic or how cold could have been outside the staff always has a smile on their faces. I stayed at the Executive floor and you get a very nice continental buffet breakfast with a magnificent view of Mexico City and even during the night you get petit fours and sodas or some wine if you rather have a drink after a heavy day of work. It is worth it to pay the upgrade. Could have some upgrades, sure, but if its service you are looking for, this is the place. Going back in July.

Room Tip: Go to higher floors. Executive floor is a must.

Nice rooms, excellent location. No breakfast included but great authentic mexican food and international restaurant.
Restaurant a little overprice but room price is cheap for the quality of the hotel and location.

Pros:
+ Excellent location: near most interesting places in Mexico City, different types of public transportation is available just outside of the hotel.
+ Excellent staff, they are aways willing to assist or help you.

Cons:
- A bit expensive for the room type I got and the facilities are quite old.
- The "broadband" connection is poor and limited, I had to re-connect almost every hour.

Room Tip: Be conscious that Mexico City is affected by earthquakes, actually I was in the hotel while one eart...
