I stayed here for ten days on business recently.
Yes, as previous reviewers have mentioned the reception is in a state of renovation at time of writing, but it doesn't really effect the day to day running of the place.
The room was adequate, air con worked fine, clean and quiet. The building wobbled 24 stories up when a small earth quake hit in the middle of the night, but I guess that's par for the course in Mexico!
Breakfast is a little pricey, but then again, when isn't it at this range of hotel?
The El Jardin restaurant is a bit lack lustre during the renovations, big white walls, club sandwich was plentiful but nothing to write home about. There was a conference on during my stay which it seemed they struggled to cope with, resulting in a queue for breakfast of about 10-15 people - luckily I was going in earlier so didn't have to queue (<7am).
Check in and check out where a little on the long side ~ 10 mins, I'm sure it could have been done faster.
I had some laundry done on two occasions, all fine.
All in all a reasonable choice hotel for location, friendly staff, does what it's supposed to on the tin.
