I went to the Museum to see an exposition my friend was participating in. it was a very modern one and i was surprise to find a huge collection in the building of very old fashion art and furniture. this museum is not big and therefore is very nice and light.

Not a huge museum but worth visiting to see the varied exhibits which are very well displayed - works of art, church artifacts, furniture. Sometimes there are temporary exhibitions which are worth seeing.

This museum has had some of the most interesting exhibitions I have ever seen in Mexico (one on kites springs to mind). However, it really depends on when you're visiting, so check the calendar on-line. Also, the permanent collection is Baroque design and furniture.

The extensive collectiion of antique European furniture and art from colonial times in Mexico is worth the visit. We gave it two hours and that was plenty. We had a good and reasonably priced lunch in the lovely interior courtyard restaurant (if you only want to spend a quiet time eatting at the restaurant without visiting all the exhibits you can ask to pay a lower entrance fee when you arrive) and were glad we stopped to see this charming museum nestled away on a back street in the Centro.

The Mexican colonial pieces in this museum are some of the most beautiful I've seen. The building was a hospital in the colonial period and you can see still traces of the paintings that were above the beds. The gift shop is great, too!
