Within walking distance from Zocalo, just take Madero and go straight in about 10 minutes you are there. Madero street is pedestrian only. they had a Picasso pictorial of his life very intresting.

“An art nouveau gem”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

Truly one of the loveliest performance spaces in the world. Was fortunate to see the Mexican National Symphony during a recent visit. Very affordable and great acoustics.

“My favorite building in the world!”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

The Italian Marble Palace, adjacent to the Alameda, lights up the city day and night. Inside marvelous operas, symphonies, chamber music concerts, jazz events, and art exhibitions take place. There are Diego Rivera, Jose Orozco and David Siqueiros murals on the top floors. Lovely bookstore and elegant cafe. A Mexico City 'must.'

“A Must See in Mexico City”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

When we were at Bellas Artes there was a Picasso exhibit, which more or less made the visit exceptional, even more so than my first visit a few years earlier. The permanent Diego Rivera murals and those by other masters make the tour a must. Anyone with even a passing interest in fine art must not miss this experience. It's art and history rolled into one, plain and simple. One ought not visit the nation's capital without visiting Bellas Artes, period.

“The murals”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

The main reason for visiting this museum are the murals. If you have never seen Sigueros murals you will be blown away. The building is also lovely.
