This hotel is located close to lots of points of interest in the city as well as subway stations and metrobus stations. You can get to just about anywhere walking. The hotel is close to the street Reforma where you can find many very nice restaurants and cafés.
Tho this hotel doesnt have the luxury that other more expensive hotels may have for the price, location and rooftop view of this great city its not a bad deal.

A nice and clean hotel, two blocks off the heart of Reforma. Quiet and secure with great bellboy and consierge help. Lower priced rooms or inside rooms have windows that let light and air in but do not have a view of the city. Pool area on rooftop is small but well kept and clean. Overall, great hotel for the price, service and location.

Room Tip: Lower priced rooms face inner courtyard that allows air and light in but there is no view. No shamp...

I like staying at the Majestic hotel located at the Zocalo, but it was sold out. I gave this hotel a try and for the price you can't beat it. The Revolucion metro is about a ten minute walk and the hotel is around the corner from the fancy Le Meridien hotel, which includes a Starbucks. The hotel's beds are hard, no a/c, no shampoo in bathroom, but what do you expect for the price. They have a fan in the room, or you can open the window. Don't come here if you want something fancy, only stay here if you don't want to spend a lot of money. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a low floor

This hotel is not the greatest place to stay if you want to sleep or relax this is not the place for it the beds are not full size as they claim there twin size and as hard as rocks and the pillows are the cheapest also the walls are like paper you can hear everything in the next room also there toileties are just soap and 2 bathroom tissues there air cond.doesn't work and you have to keep your windows open if you want air also there restaurant is not the cleanest they give you just a little bit of food but there prices are very high you do better going around the corner to Vips or any other restaurant the elevator are always breaking down they need to over haul this hotel and pay there staff better and givethem benifits.

Room Tip: there no suites here there room are small the A/C doesn't work and they need to change there rug...

I stayed here for 22 consecutive nights so the rate I negociated was great, less than 35 usd. The Hotel is clean but old, specially the bathroom. The elevator kept breaking and sometimes the door would not open completly or it stopped before aligning with the floor so sometimes you had to "step" up a little, not dangerously but still. The central air conditining was of no help at all, but to be fair they sell the room wthout A/C, so I shouldn´t complain. The bed was really hard, I know some people love hard beds but this one was really too hard. The internet is a dissaster specially on the top floors (I talked to some other guests) , but again, for the price, it´s really a perk.

On the good side; The personnel were attentive, the hotel was quiet and safe, the location is good and the subway is about 10 minutes away. But the best feature of the hotel , in my opinion, is the roof garden with a nice pool (as nice as in the photos), resting area and a not so bad view to the city.

If you are looking for luxury - don't come here! But if you are looking for value for money - do!!

Let's start with the annoying and work our way up:
We arrived late on a Saturday night - it was Gay Pride and being on the edges of Zona Rosa the hotel was popular and full. The room we had booked, we were informed was not available. Yes, they had our booking of a double room with two double beds, but they had let it to someone else. They were prepared to give us a room with one kingsize bed which cost more, for no extra cost, and would move us the next day, or if we wanted we could go and look for a room elsewhere. It was 11 pm and we were not impressed - we had no option but to accept.

The next day they told us we had to wait until people checked out to see what might be available to us; eventually we were given a room. We repacked, moved and unpacked. The key card did not work. After several attempts by the manager we were told we had to move again. Again we repacked, moved and unpacked, during which the lift doors closed on my forearms causing considerable bruising. Thankfully we did not have to move again.

Another downside was the fact that the toilets seem to leak, clean water not anything else, but it is still quite annoying and it appears to be all of them.

The positives are that for approximately £10 per person per night you can stay in a hotel, in a really good location (right next to Monument de la Revolution and 5 mins direct walk from the metro) that is safe and extremely clean and you can have a hot shower at any time of day or night. The towels (2 per person) and sheets are changed daily and they give you a bottle of mineral water every day per person. Also the beds are extremely comfortable.

It can be a little noisy sometimes and the food is pretty average, bordering on disappointing here, however, Artur who does the breakfast shift, is very attentive and very helpful - drawing directions for the metro etc so he compensates a little.

There is a very small plunge pool on the roof accompanied by 3 sunbeds, a welcome little oasis from the smoggy city, but I'm insure how it would cope with double figures of guests.

All in all, it is really a no frills, business hotel, basic and practical. That said: it is really clean and the only place I stayed all over Mexico that provided mineral water every day for each guest.

For all its annoyances, it still leaves you smiling. For that reason we returned at the end of our trip too, because at the end of the day, it is a jolly good, value for money all rounder.

Room Tip: The higher the floor, the quieter the room.

I've stayed there for 3 nights, it is centrally located just next to Revolucion (there is a metro station nearby). The room was OK, quite clean, hot water shower and the room was cleaned on daily basis.

The hotel is located in a quiet street, so it was not noisy. The swimming pool is quite small, it is located on the roof. The staff at the reception was speaking English.
