“Fine for the price!”
Reviewed 27 July 2013

I spent a night there on my way to another city. I thought the price was great at only $31 dlls a night (thru Expedia).

The property has a great location, just a couple blocks from Reforma Boulevard which is kind of the main drag in Mexico City's Downtown. So the hotel is surrounded by high rise buildings,

It looks like a 70's property. First thing I notice when I enter the room, a heavy smell like pine sol. The bathroom's toilet looks like a gas station toilet. Never seen one of these in a hotel room. Decor outdated, that's 80's show. Bed was hard as a rock.

But I gotta say the room is clean, very clean, great customer service, and you get what you pay for, if you are traveling on a budget, if you need to walk and take the subway or something, for students in a budget, this is a great choice at less than 40 bucks a night. Nearest subway (Metro it is called there) is only 3 blocks (station Revolución).

There is a restaurant but I didn't eat there, so, nothing to say. They have free WIFI in the entire property.

Room Tip: I think if you get a room on the top floors overseeing the city will be terrific, since the hotel ha...

We stayed here for a couple nights as a group of friends. As teachers we needed to get a place in the center of town that did not break the bank, and this place was good. They allow four people per room. This can be done comfortably for around 500p total. The location was great... close to many monuments, restaurants and shops. Approx.. a 50p cab ride to get to the major nightclubs (antros) street. The area is safe as we (looking like tourists) have walked around there at 4am with no problems. If you need an iron, you can get one at the front desk free of charge, but no ironing board, so make sure you use a towel on the desk. Pool area is cool and has many lounging chairs to sit back and relax. Pool is clean as well. Drink service avail. if you call down to the bar from the 8th (roof) floor. Beds can be a little hard, but for the price its a good deal. Restaurant service was good and inexpensive (30 pesos for a Michelada). Elevator is scary and slow, so if you have a phobia i would get a lower floor. Shower and soaps, towels were fine.

Great deal for the $ for younger people who don't complain if everything isnt 100%. This is Mexico, in the heart of the city for 500p a night. You get what you pay for. I wouldnt recommend for families or old people who complain about everything.
This hotel is not for you

Room Tip: Corner suite FTW.

Some friends and I came upon this place while walking around looking for a hotel in the area (which, undeniably, is a strange thing to do in Mexico City!). By far, it was the lowest-priced in the area. Beds were hard, but that wasn't a huge drawback, given the location and the price. Really, it had EVERYTHING I could want. Elevator, internet, good restaurant/lounge, GREAT location AND a beautiful rooftop terrace with pool. For the price, we really felt like he hit the jackpot! Added plus is that the soft ambient music in the lobby and lounge areas matched the unintentional vintage theme of the hotel (think Burt Bacharach).

Room Tip: Rooms on the inside facing the interior courtyard-type openings instead of the street are cheaper, a...

Firstly, this is a budget hotel so those looking for luxury should probably make
another choice. However the Corinto does offer great value for the price.

Great location close to Revolution and Hildago metro stations to connect you
anywhere in the city. Situated on a quiet street right off plaza of the
Monument de la Revolution. Sufficient good local restaurants nearby and
La Antigua around the corner was excellent. Wine and liquor store right
across the street.

Rooms are a descent size with a spacious bathroom that provides reliable hot
water at all times. Linens and towels are changed daily and bottled water is
provided. Rooms can be a little hot but a fan was supplied upon request.

There is a very small pool and garden on the roof with a nice view and a
great sanctuary to cool off and relax.

I found every staff member that I encountered to be extremely helpful,
pleasant and professional. I would definitely return to this hotel when
In Mexico City.

Room Tip: Some street noise so probably higher rooms would be quieter.

This hotel is located close to lots of points of interest in the city as well as subway stations and metrobus stations. You can get to just about anywhere walking. The hotel is close to the street Reforma where you can find many very nice restaurants and cafés.
Tho this hotel doesnt have the luxury that other more expensive hotels may have for the price, location and rooftop view of this great city its not a bad deal.

A nice and clean hotel, two blocks off the heart of Reforma. Quiet and secure with great bellboy and consierge help. Lower priced rooms or inside rooms have windows that let light and air in but do not have a view of the city. Pool area on rooftop is small but well kept and clean. Overall, great hotel for the price, service and location.

Room Tip: Lower priced rooms face inner courtyard that allows air and light in but there is no view. No shamp...

I like staying at the Majestic hotel located at the Zocalo, but it was sold out. I gave this hotel a try and for the price you can't beat it. The Revolucion metro is about a ten minute walk and the hotel is around the corner from the fancy Le Meridien hotel, which includes a Starbucks. The hotel's beds are hard, no a/c, no shampoo in bathroom, but what do you expect for the price. They have a fan in the room, or you can open the window. Don't come here if you want something fancy, only stay here if you don't want to spend a lot of money. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a low floor
