Great place to stay for business! Gardens, no noise from the traffic--self contained with multiple restaurant choices, pool and a fantastic gym! Room and bathroom are spacious, great amenities, including an iron! No complaints--highly recommend.

Room Tip: Pool side rooms if you ask but I prefer the inside atrium--I could even hear birds chirping!

The Camino Real is a nice hotel, definitely starting to show its age. The rooms were clean, the carpet was starting to get old. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I don't have anything negative to say about the hotel, in my opinion it's a 4 Star Hotel.

Excellent property, quite old but very well maintained. It has the typical Mexican colorful decoration.
The rooms where large and the bathroom all with high end materials. Attention, rooms facing the street tend to be quite noisy.
It has like 7 restaurants inside the property. I visited three, all excellent.
The staff was helpful and friendly.

Room Tip: Attention, rooms facing the street tend to be quite noisy.

Room: I was lucky enough to have an upgraded room on the concierge level with complimentary beverages and snacks throughout the day. My room was recently updated with an Eames like chair, purple carpets and a smart balcony with a teak lounger. My room was clean and design was smart.
Hotel: The public spaces were amazing. Every corner seemed to be something new for the senses. From a gold wall, to interesting art in the lounge, water elements and more. Overall I was impressed.
Location: The hotel is in Polanco with a short walk to Chapultepec Park with all the museums and park activity you can imagine. I walked comfortably to the park and to business meetings nearby. Use your own judgement with safety but I felt safe. I even walked to dinner at night but it is Mexico City so be careful.

Overall I loved the hotel. The cost was not budget so I did expect higher service and design and they did deliver.

Room Tip: Concierge level was very nice, I did not see other rooms. My room faced the pool and it was very ni...

I booked my stay at one of their main suites. The room was big, on a bottom floor and with a beautiful glass wall overlooking a private pool. However, the room was very dark and with few lamps.
The hallways are in need of a face lift. The carpet seems to be a bit old and needs fresh paint in the hallways.
Service was very good and they even save a bose speaker that I had forgotten in my room and I was able to picked up on my next stay in Mexico (at another hotel).
It was a fantastic hotel but it needs a face lift.

This hotel is very nice, has a Mexican Contemporary Architecture and the restaurant there are awesome, they have the beef bar and Marimoto is a japenese, this is excellent, when you go to this hotel I'll recommend the room in the middle because the room close to street is very noise, but price vs value is very good.

Room Tip: Don't choose room close to the street, thas it.

I went to Mexico City for business purposes and was pleasantly surprised to be treated like royalty by the staff of this Grand Dame Resort hotel in the middle of the Polanco district.
My two sons and I enjoyed the Camino Real Club cocktails and breakfast but also Morimoto’s wine paring menu, it was delicious.
I will be going back to Mexico City soon again and my only choice will be Camino Real Polanco.

Room Tip: CR Club it's a must.
