“Great place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

It's very nice places, will take you a couple of hours and then you can walk to Chapultepec park. Try not to go on Sunday if you prefer quiet places.

“Great couple of hours - history and beauty”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 November 2013

57 pesos each. It's free for Mexicans and foreign residents on Sunday so there are massive queues. If you're not entitled to get in free definitely go on another day when it's less packed (not Monday when it's closed).
Located in Chapultepec Park which is worth a walk round too - impressive monuments (e.g. Los Heros Ninos), loads of stalls (especially at the weekend) where you can get good bargins on lots of souvenirs e.g. Lucha Libre masks.
Some amazing murals covering whole walls and even whole rooms. I was really struck by the quality of the art throughout the exhibitions. Some paintings were so lifelike (both religious and historial).
The grounds are manicured and beautiful and afford a great view of Mexico City buried in trees with tower blocks poking up out of the canopy.
The information in the museum (boards by exhibits) is excellent - in Spanish. And there is a lot to see and learn about the history of Mexico.

“What a surprise”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 November 2013

Mexico City´s largest and most popular park, a very peaceful place a great place for families to gather, here is where the current presidential Palace is, a peaceful place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of one of the world´s largest cities. The Mueseum of Anthropology is worth a visit.

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 November 2013

The castle is close to the Anthropology Museum and is definitely worth a visit. You can either take the beautiful walk through the park and wind your way up the hill through the gardens, or take a little train up. It will take about 2-3 hours to tour properly, and make sure allow yourself time to go outside and upstairs as well. A stunning building and the views are spectacular.
