“One of the best breakfasts in Mexico City.”
Reviewed 8 October 2011

Ok, this might not be your typical mexican restaurant but it is a beautiful restaurant with great food. I went there for a Sunday Brunch and although I did not choose the buffet option (+ 50 USD per person) I chose the menu option, I saw that the buffet was great The menu is not that expensive and the food it's delicious specially the Benedictines Eggs.
If you are around the hotel and want to try a great "luxury" restaurant, come here.

“Disappointing as the hotel is really beautiful”
Reviewed 31 January 2011

We have stayed several times at the St. Regis and it really is a special hotel and the rooms are beautiful. However, our recent meal at the hotel to celebrate a family birthday was extremely disappointing. The service was poor, lots of waiters but no-one attending the small number of tables (only 4 occupied). The Head waiter and receptionist were eating at a table in the back and seemed to get better attention than the guests. The floor was dirty and covered in crumbs. What was most disappointing was the food. They had changed their menu and the prices were much more expensive and the food only average. The meat was not cooked as requested and the recommended fish dish (sea bass/robalo) was presented as a plain piece of fish swimming in a watering green sauce with some greens thrown in and nothing else. Definitely not up to the level we expect from this type of hotel. Desserts were not any better and tea was served cold. They have been advertising the opening of their new restaurant for over a year and while the webpage says it will be open by the end of 2010 it is still not open. We had also phoned for a reservation and they had not bothered to write it in the book.

“Urbane tranquility in the heart of the DF”
Reviewed 26 January 2011

The uber sleek St. Regis overlooks Diana la Cazadora, and features the formal Decanter, a comfy bar, outdoor terrace and Restaurante Diana.

We happened in on a Sunday evening looking like drowned rats following a downpour. No worries, we were given the royal treatment.

Beautifully presented, the food is a blend of Mediterranean, Mexican, French in a New York setting. Although the wine list is pricey, the food never disappoints.
