The only downside to this hostel we encountered is the trek up 4 flights of stairs. It was hard on day one with our bags and it hadn't got any easier 6 days later when we left. We booked the private twin which was basic but spacious and separate from the main hostel so we didn't have any issues with noise. Breakfast of patisseries, orange juice and coffee was provided every morning. There were 2 well equipped kitchens, one specifically for vegetarians and we were very happy that they provided access to filtered water throughout our stay. Maybe not quite enough toilets or showers for this size of the building, but it didn't cause us any issues. The staff were very helpful with tour bookings, restaurant suggestions and directions. The bar was only open one night while we were there due to the weather, but the roof terrace is a great place to take your own beers and chat with fellow travellers.More
