“Very good mariachis”
Reviewed 15 October 2013

First of all, I would like to say those were the best mariachis I've seen in Mexico in two years. Wow.
Waiters were very attentive.
Appetizers we had - tlacoyos and chorizo cooked with tequila were good.
Beef dishes were a major failure - overcooked. But cochinito pibil was very good. Beware the habanero chili.

Had a great time.

“Decent Mexican Food with Atmosphere”
Reviewed 2 September 2013

I Zona Rosa, had a fun dinner on a Sunday night during my trip. Very good music, Mariachi and other and really good voices. Entertaining, dancing is encouraged, also.... singing with the mariachi (if you can do it!)
Not all servers speak English, but you get translation help. Not the best Mexican food ever, but good, especially the baby goat. So go for the atmosphere, very relaxing during business trip. As a tourist, not bad.

“Good Mexican Music”
Reviewed 5 July 2013

They have Mariachis and other live music. This is the attraction here. Dancing is encouraged except during the Mariachi performance. Skip the food except maybe a small appetizer. The Queso Fundido was good. All the other meat was tough and over priced. Nice bathrooms which are the exception in Mexico. Good time and good area relatively.

“Not for the food...”
Reviewed 5 June 2013

I would say, that place is a genuine tourist trap, but it was full of Mexican. (Maybe Mexican Tourist!). I was looking for a nice place, to offer a great diner to my friend. When we entered there was mariachis, no surprise with the name of the place... Then there was a cow boy with his lasso show and then rooster fighting show. I think a restaurant is not a place for that, totally distasteful.
It was a cold rainy night, we had to change table, because it was too cold inside, even at the second table it was very uncomfortable. They where keeping the front door open and a window. The food was average. Poor and slow service. In the menu there was a «cubierto» charge, witch I had never saw before. It was a (expensive) cover charge for the show. I could understand they charge that if your not eating, but with a full course meal, for my it was an insult. Definitively will not returning and would never enter if I knew.

“Mexican Style”
Reviewed 26 March 2013

Fair choice, good food and service. Interestingly cultural if you are a big Mexican fan. Located at the Zona Rosa watch out in your way out of the place.
