Six of us went here for lunch -- what a deal at 60 pesos (less than US$5) for a 3 course set lunch (comida corrida)! We were the only foreigners in the place. The service was speedy and efficient and our young waitress was very welcoming. There was a choice for each of the starters and main course, and fresh pineapple for dessert. I had a small plate of spaghetti to start, followed by fish Veracruz- style in a tomato, onion and chilli sauce. Some of us chose from the a la carte menu, including a vegetarian lasagna which resembled more a lasagna sandwich: two layers of pasta with assorted vegetables and a light cheese sauce in between. Everything was well prepared and was served with a pitcher of interesting cucumber flavored water. It wasn't fine dining by any means but everything that we had reflected the kind of food that you would find in a typical Mexican home. Las Margaritas is a good choice for an expensive, filling lunch in the heart of the Zona Rosa.
