We decided to find a hotel next to the commercial area and also with competitive fares, after several minutes we found El Ejecutivo Hotel. Rooms are clean and wide enough, the buffet is quite good and also cheap.

Thank you for your review. It is nice to know you enjoyed the choice you made. Hotel El Ejecutivo has a lot of advantages. The location is one of the most important benefits, since we are near to an important mall in Reforma, 15 minutes away from “Chapultepec Castle” and many touristic points in the City. The spectacular rates by booking in advance in our official web site are very attractive. In addition Hotel El Ejecutivo has a brand new Restaurant “S3nse Coffe”, with a great ambience and a huge variety of food and beverages that must be tasted. It will be a pleasure for us to welcome you again!!

This hotel is located just meters from Zona rosa so it's great to go and return by feet to the hotel after clubbing. The main positive thing about this hotel is that has been recently renewed in a very positive way! the rooms are very clean and very spacious! also great illumination and new furniture and of course the price is the lowest you can get around this area...totally recommend it!

Thank you for your review. We are glad that you found our location convenient; the Hotel is located in a quiet street very near from Reforma Avenue and Insurgentes, ideal for tourism, party or business, because there are such a variety of places to visit around the hotel. As you mention, it has been a year since the hotel has being renewed. Nowadays you can enjoy the rooms completely finished with an innovative minimalist design. And also, here you receive the best value for your money. We hope we can welcome you very soon!

El Ejecutivo is located just a block off Reforma in the heart of the city. I chose the hotel because of the excellent price and it's proximity to my business destination. I was not disappointed.

My flight arrived early and I got to the hotel well before check-in time. The reception staff offered to hold my luggage until a room became available. Happily, I was checked in about an hour and a half before check-in time, which pleased me greatly. During my entire stay I found the staff to be pleasant and helpful.

The hotel website describes it's rooms as minimalistic, and I agree. Clean, modern, spacious, and well-appointed, I found the room quite acceptable. Everything worked properly and the beds were firm, but not bad. Although I heard a couple of car alarms nearby, the night was generally very quiet and I slept comfortably.

I only have two small negatives. I would have appreciated a small in-room coffee maker for that first cup of coffee. And although I didn't watch much TV, the nice flatscreen TV had a less than clear picture due, I suppose, to the cable signal. A minor annoyance.

All in all I found the hotel to be a great value and I'll certainly return if I am in the area.

Thank you so much for your preference and your complete review. It is nice to know that you left the hotel thinking that you made an excellent choice. Our hotel is ideal for both business and leisure stays. It is located almost next to one of the most important avenues in Mexico City, Reforma Avenue. All the guestrooms are fully renovated with a minimalist style and worldwide unique headboard design. For us it will never be a problem to provide you an early check in if your room is available by the time of your arrival. We always appreciate guest´s feedback, this is very helpful for us to change and modify certain details that we can´t see from our part. We will be glad to see you soon.

The place is very nice, clean and well kept. Room is cleaned every day. Complementary water bottles are placed in room every day. We actually experienced an earthquake during our stay and I felt that the staff handled the situation well.

good place to stay in Mexico City. Centrally located and good value for the rates. Renovated rooms , lobby and coffe shop, not the restaurant which is still out of the 70`s. So is the breakfast at the restaurant.
We preferred the coffe shop with nice staff and wonderful fresh prepared coffee and a sandwich or croissant for breakfast.
Rooms are spacey and well equipped, smell in the bathroom the first day, walls are not sound proof so you easily can listen to neighbours conversation.Beds are not too comfortable my back hurted every morning. WIFI works good in the rooms, not always fast. Flat TV has a good size. A/C is better off because realy noisy but you dont need a lot of A/C in Mexico City, specially not at night.
We stayed there during the 5.8 earthquake on June 16th 2013. Room was moving in all direction, pretty scary, but no damage after the shock. We left the room after the first quake and spent 2 hours on the street. Alarm clocks where ringing when we arrived at the 5th floor, more up ( we stayed on the 9th floor where was no alarm noteable) If you are sleeping you might not be aware of the quake. Staircase is wide, so no problem to let many people go down to street level at the same time.
Plus : free valet parking, free wifi, good location , good rate
Minus: noise from other rooms, A/C, alarm system was not working on all floors

I would recommend the hotel as one of the best choices if vou dont want to spent more than 100 Dollar a night

Room Tip: choose a room at the end of the floor so you only hear the noise from one neighbour

Stayed here for five days with my girlfriend in the middle of June 2013.

We found a good deal by using one of the many hotel search engines on the web, and managed to get a very good price for our stay.

From the airport it took about 20 minutes with an authorized taxi which costed $ 250 Mexican Pesos.

Regarding taxis there are a taxi line just on your right hand when you exit the hotel lobby. Those public taxis are cheaper than the taxis the hotel provides. To Zona Rosa, where there is a lot more of nightlife, restaurants and shops you should pay around 20-40 Mexican Pesos (about a 5 minutes long cab ride). To the big pyramids outside of the city we payed 900 mxn pesos. For this price the taxi driver waited for us at the pyramids, and drove us back when we finished after about four hours.

Hotel El Ejecutivo is located in the business district of Mexico City, and we always felt safe. A Seven Eleven shop and a Oxxo is just some few meters to your left side when exiting the hotel.

The service at the hotel is good. Check in and check out went quickly and smoothly. A BIG plus for free Wifi in the hotel room, even though it went too slow to stream movies/TV-series. On request we were also given ice cubes and a bowl for our chips in our room free of charge.

A wonderful view over the city (ask for a room in one of the higher floors).

The rooms have a kind of Scandinavian design; chich, modern and minimalistic. The only minuses are that the walls in the hotel rooms are not sound proof at all. You could hear your neighbors talking, showering and watching TV. Also there was a weird smell in our bathroom, which we're not sure came from our neighbors bathroom or from our shower.

All in all we would definitely be staying here again if we will be able to get a good deal again.

Thank you very much for your comments is good to know that your stay was enjoyable. Regarding the prices of taxis, taxis from our hotel the cost is a little more than one of the street as these taxis are certified and are extremely confident for us. So an independent taxi has a lower cost for being an individual. We are in the process of improving our rooms since next project involves improving the rooms and prevent external noise. We will be waiting for your next visit to the country.

Stayed here for 4 days in May 2013.

Doesnt look much from street but rooms are clean and modern. Noisy air conditioning unit was only complaint....but for $50 a night you just cant go wrong.

Location is good with lots of bars and restaurants nearby and 30 minutes walking distance to the historic centre or nearby underground station another option.
