Owner description: Our guided Mexican food tours and Mexican cooking lessons are seriously fun. In our Mexican food tours you'll visit some off the beaten path locations in Mexico City, a paradise for foodies. You'll taste food from a variety of one-of-a-kind Mexican eateries while receiving the locals' view into the culture and architecture. Enjoy new culinary perspectives, new flavors, bright smiles, and the opportunity to understand better where and how the locals eat & live. Our goal is that you eat like the locals and get a clear idea of the authentic Mexican Cuisine. Between tastings, you'll experience the life of Mexico City's residents, the so-called "Chilangos", as you enjoy walking around fascinating neighborhoods like Polanco or lovely and authentic markets such as Mercado de San Juan located in Centro Histórico. In our Mexican cooking lessons, you'll cook some delicious Mexican dishes with and expert Mexican chef, an unforgettable experience. We run tours all year round. All food tastings and drinks are included in the ticket price. **Our Polanco food tour ends close to the Anthropology Museum (walking distance), so you might consider spending the rest of your day in the most important museum of our country.

I recently had the opportunity to go on this tour, and i can say it was wonderful!! I got to try some delicious food, some that makes part of an every day Mexican diet, walk around one of the most beautiful and luxurious neighborhood in México city (Polanco). The tour guide was very professional, friendly and very knowlodgeable of everything.
I highly recomend this tour if you're looking to have a great experience.

“It is more than food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 July 2014

We are from China and it is our first tour in Mexico City after arrival in the late night before. The tour was amazing, and it was more than food. Except for the 6 fantastic restaurants, the tour guide was quite helpful on recommending several must-go places, which proves to be quite valuable. During the tour, we also had a chance walk through the polanco area and get to know the history of this area and culture of Mexico. We strongly recommend the tour.

“Yummy food and a fun tour!”

This is a great tour that gives you a little bit of different aspects of Mexican cuisine (particularly of the central-south region of the country). Connie was also a great tour guide - really chill and fun! - and gave us a good history of Polanco, the neighborhood where the tour takes place.

“Fun for the whole family!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

I recently did a tour in Polanco with my in-laws and a friend (my sister-in-law is from Mexico City) and we all agreed it was fantastic! We were relieved that there wasn't an excessive amount of food (we were satisfied and not overly full), but we tried a great array of many things I would have never thought of trying had I not experienced this tour! We even had three kids under the age of 6 with us and they enjoyed the tour as well. Our guide was awesome and extremely happy to talk about food, culture and history and answered all of our questions. Next time we hope to do one of the other tours as this was a wonderful way to spend a lazy afternoon!

“Wonderful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2014

It was an amazing sightseeing around interesting places around Polanco.
Very well organized tour that starts on time and deliver all that they promise on booking the sightseeing. You will taste specific Mexican food and sweets in 6 typical restaurants.
Tamalis and chocolates are inedited places. The guide is very helpful and makes the tour and stops wonderful according to the customer needs. You have time to taste the food and take pictures in many interesting places.
I recommend to book this in the beginning of you trip , so you can come back to the restaurants and taste another places that are not visited but well described and recommended along the tour.
