the location is by far the best atribute for this hotel.close to the insurgentes metro subway and metro bus. you are close to all the resturants and bars in the city.many of these bars are glbt.this is an area in mexico city much like west hollywood is in l.a. or the castro in san fransisco.the zona rosa is a very safe area it has a hudge federal police presense.i was there for over a week coming and going at all hours of the day and night and had no problems at all.you are close to the financial district and historical center, down town mexico and the zocalo,as well as the condesa palonco and roma areas of the city.all of which offer fantastic shopping and resturants.the hotel its self is a good value with a large suite and comfortable king size bedsthe rooms also come with in room safes,a must for mexico city ,and refrig and microwave oven.the staff were all nice and helpfulthe metro is a great way to get around town for about 25 cents u.s.avoid rush hours 6-9 a.m. and 4 - 730 p.m. the crowds are intense. after 12 midnight just take a sitio or hotel cab any hotel club or resturant will be happy to call you one.do not take a cab off the street most are safe but not nearly as safe as a sitio or radio cab.one last tip take the turibus city tour of mexico city it is fantastic and you can get on and off as you like it runs from 9 a.m to 9 .p.m 365 days a year.

old furnished Hotel but in a Top Location due we love Zona Rosa. The rooms are big that is a plus but the furniture are a bit old like the bath as well.Staff at the reception try the best but at least they have a really good Bell man who was more then helpfull in everything. breakfast not necessary, it is better to enjoy something in the streets.

I stayed here for a week, and some good things can be said of the hotel, first, the rooms are very big and comfortable, stable internet, some maintenance is needed, but the rooms are clean, even if its furnishings are worn already by use and time.
Staff is good and breakfast is good, but the important thing is that is centrally located and with many eateries nearby, apart from the gay/weird public in the Zona Rosa,it feels safe at all hours.
I would suggest improving the lighting in the rooms, and change the blueish lamps for some warmer lighting, apart from that just add something less mexican in the breakfast in the warm food section, that will be all, .....worth the price and again I will return and use this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor, just in case, as the front to the street rooms maybe a bit noiser during the...

I love this hotel. I always get excellent service and the rooms are so nice. A living area and and sleeping area like a mini condo. Easy walk from the metro station and feels so safe in the heart of the Zona Rosa. I totally recommend.

Spent just one night... Booked through orbitz... Got a great rate, and the location was right in the heart of Zona Rosa... A vibrant Gay community. The rooms were huge, and there was plenty of room to spread out. I was in a one bedroom suite with a king size bed. Breakfast was included and was very good, lots of selection, and good quality. Highly recommended for the price

I enjoy staying at this hotel. It has been my second stay. They are friendly, professional and the rooms are very large with a furnished suite. The location could not be beaten being right in the heart of Zona Rosa and steps away from everything central in Mexico. But there are some needed improvements.
First of all the room and furnishings. The overall rooms need upgrading. The carpeting, bed sheets and furniture is old and musty and could use a more comfortable and contemporary appearence. The breakfast was plentiful but milk warm for cereal. I think it needs to be refridgerated. The waitress was terrible. I often had to ask her to come out to serve me coffee. The computer is something out of 1990 and badly needs upgrading with more of them. All in all, however, a pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from others if possible. The rooms are not soundproof and one can hear neighbors...

People the Zona Rosa is convenient if it´s for business since Reforma is nearby but it caters to "lonely" businessmen.
Depends what you´re looking for.
