Description: SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL'S was created in 1972 by Rey Fernandez and his English wife Jane Pearson. They transformed a Tudor-style family mansion in Polanco into a well loved Restaurant that has become a famous landmark in Mexico City. Churchill's continues to amaze new customers as well as it's faithful clientele alike with the outstanding quality of it's food and a dedicated service for over 40 years. The delicious meals which include traditional favourites like Beef Wellington and Prime Rib of Roast Beef compete with the new daily specialities created by Churchill's talented Chef from France. A visit to Churchill's is an experience to be savoured as it is a true oasis in the very heart of Mexico City.

“Great British Food in Mexico City”
Reviewed 1 December 2013 via mobile

Had a super evening at Sir Winston. Tastefully decorated for the festive season, we ate in Salon Rojo with a wonderful pianist playing throughout the evening. Traditional british favourite dishes on the menu. We had steak and kidney pie, more kidney and steak but very yummy. Dessert trolley Mmmmm. Well worth a visit, reserve in advance, sit back and think of England. Enjoy !

“Excellent food but pricy”
Reviewed 21 October 2013 via mobile

A little taste of England in the heart of Mexico City. The restaurant decoration is superb, the waiters are friendly and there are separate rooms for events and celebrations. Although it is pricy it still deserves a visit. But If you are backpacking in Mexico, please stay far from this place!!!

“A british jewel in the heart of Mexico”

English decorated rooms and superb garden, first class food and friendly staff. Prepare yourself cause prices make you feel like you were in London, but it still deserves a visit.

“A tiny piece of Britain, located in MEX”
Reviewed 14 August 2013 via mobile

Well, you are in for a Treat, Governor!
Truly..!
A Marvelous Spot! And a Great location, right in the middle of Polanco. Best Neighborhood in all of. Mexico City. Defenetly.

You know what? It used to be The British Embassy... A Gorgeous building, and a lovely entrance. It is just so... you know..! British! You know that it will not get any better than that..!
No way..!
No how..!
And then, it just right there...
You just cannot get a tastier Kidney Pie, Ox Tail Soup, nor Lamb Cutlets on minted pea purée, anywhere else in town, but here. Period. A tastefully kept collection of Porcelain, regarding the best modern times of the Monarchy, is displayed in the Foyer. Lovely Live Piano music at hand.
God Save The Queen, Subjects..!
Oh, and please, do have a look at the Dessert table. Seriously!
