This beautiful B&B was recommended to us by a friend, and it was one of the loveliest and friendliest places we have ever stayed! The rooms themselves are modern and beautiful, with convenient yet arty accents and wonderful bathrooms. The courtyard is a calm and beautiful place to eat breakfast or plan your day, and the other common areas (dining room and living room) are inviting and comfortable complete with beautiful pieces of art. Our hosts were Ernesto and Alejandro--and both went out of their way to assist us. Alejandro sat with my husband for about 15 minutes one morning helping him map out our Metro route for the day. The breakfasts are delicious and filling--and in the early evenings wine is usually served. This is an absolutely lovely place, you will love if if you stay here!

This is the perfect B&B in Mexico City. The hosts are super friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, the rooms are beautiful - modern but cozy, great light, nice touches everywhere, flowers, etc - there is a nice courtyard full of trees, plants and water fountains where you can have breakfast and best of all you're in a GREAT neighborhood with tons of things to do at walking distance all around you. The staff can also arrange trips to Teotihuacan and other activities. I will never stay anywhere else in DF if I can help it!!

As the other reviews clearly indicate, this is an extraordinary place: the beauty, comfort, neighborhood, and above all, the people who run it--Ernesto, Alex, Victor, Craig, Jorge, Ricardo and all the others. They are amazing and go above and beyond what is expected of even the best B&B hosts. I have been there a couple of times and with their warmth and hospitality, when I return it is really like visiting friends.

So there is no way to accurately describe the amazing stay one experiences when staying at the Red Tree House! From start to finish this was EXCEPTIONAL! We began by having casual email conversations with Victor and Ernesto, both in English and Spanish, before our arrival to explore some fun opportunities in Mexico City - and everything got better once we entered the string-light illuminated courtyard of the sweetest slice of home away from home in bustling Mexico City.

Everyone and everything was amazing - from the fellow guests, to the unbelievable staff (Victor, Alex, Ernesto, Julia, Paloma, Bertha and Roberto), to our delightful hosts - Craig and Jorge (who we must have known in another life somewhere), to the cozy, comfortable rooms (we recommend the Treehouse!), to the delicious breakfasts and down to the continually full wine glasses at happy hour. We can not say enough about this place!

From the moment we entered the courtyard until we left, we felt like we were at home and loved ... almost celebrities on our whirlwind, jam-packed tour of Mexico City.

We will most certainly be back and YOU should give it a climb!!!!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are great! The staff goes out of their way to ensure that the courtyard is quiet...

All the reviews are absolutely accurate!!! We stayed for 4 nights and everything was relaxing and comfortable. The breakfasts are truly outstanding home cooked Mexican specialties. The whole staff goes out of their way to help you with anything or any questions. I will never stay anywhere else when I go to Mexico City.

The is a very special place hidden away in the hip Condesa neighborhood. The room was cozy, breakfast delicious, happy hour entertaining, and the staff totally delightful. I can't wait to return for a longer stay.
