Reviewed 11 August 2013

Very well located near the zocalo. Walkable to all site I'd interest. Where I'm not satisfied is that I got the reservation fron a site and for some obscure reason, they wanted to be paid directly instead of charging themself the site. Also Internet very unstable and made It very difficult to plan the trip the next day. Last but not least, it took between 5-15 min of running water to get hot water for the shower. The second day, we just started the weather and pack and then the water was ready.

Have you ever had to leave a hotel at 3:30am, well this was my first time too.
I've stayed in this hotel for years, and it was really a good choice and a good value, in fact I had reviewed this hotel before, but this time everything went wrong, first of all they rose the price by almost 20% since last time, then they added a hostel on the third floor, now this is bad but it got worse really worse at night.
We came back to the hotel at 9:00 pm, since we needed to get up early to catch a bus to the coast at 6:00 am we decided to try to sleep early, but couldn't, they were like 20 kids (18-22) from Mexico City in the third floor from the "Hostel", they couldn't keep quiet at 10:00 pm, we told the front desk, after all you are paying for a hotel, then my wife went to the front desk again at 11:00pm, 12:00am, and finally at 2:00am, the noise was unbearable, we needed to sleep, finally at 3:00am we decided to just go out and find a hotel, at least they gave us a refund, but it was an awful experience, if these guy want a hostel fine, but if you want to sleep I suggest you find yourself a better place, plus the fact that at $600 pesos it's not a good deal anymore, for a few bucks more you can find much more better and quiet choices, well too bad, I don't think I would go back there.

Room Tip: Avoid second floor, if you are going to stay here stay on the first.

Antonios was good for a few days because of its good central location just outside the central park. Rooms are ok but basic. Wifi is good. Beds are also good but hard. As with many 2-3 star hotels in this part of the world, care should be taken with the electrically heated showers with exposed wires and light switches inside the shower.

Room Tip: The rear upper rooms are more modern and larger

Some friends an I decided to travel to Oaxaca, so my friends asigned me to choose the hotel i had no idea which one to choose. But luckly i found Hotel Antonio´s ... Im really happy with the service. We also wanted to take some tours in the city and out, so the hotel recomended us to an agency that is right next to the hotel, its called Turismo Santours, righthere the service was great and thanks to them we got to see all around Oaxaca, when we go back for sure im sticking with hotel antonio´s and Turismo Santours.

Room Tip: well luckly everything whent fine, the Ac was on, very quiet, and its centrally located. plus there...

This is the second time we stay here, last time was 10 years ago.
The place is in a great location, rooms are clean, tv-cable, bathrooms could be better but are not bad in any way.
Would stay there again easily, in a heartbeat in fact, but my only complaint was the guys at the reception desk, they really don't know what they are doing, some late-teen early-adult receptionists that are clueless.
Other than that the place considering VALUE is perfect.

Room Tip: Non, the place is great for the price you pay.

The title says it all really. The hotel was clean, well-priced, and centrally located. The king bed room on the upper level was spacious and airy, and staff were attentive and helpful.

Unfortunately things went downhill fast when it came time to actually use the room in the evening. The shower drain became blocked, flooding the bathroom and most of the room itself. I'm sure this was just an unlucky random occurance, but nevertheless it's not something you wish to happen during your stay.

The mattress was in dire need of replacement, consisting as it did, of little more than a collection of sharp metal edges lightly covered with a thin piece of Sealy's finest fabric.

And to complete the trifecta of awfulness, a nearby nightclub played loud trance music well into the wee hours of the morning (on a Tuesday!).

Moral of the story - do your due diligence on the bed first, and cross your fingers that noone throws a trance party on the night of your stay.

We stayed 3 nights. Friendly staff and nice room with air conditioning. It was very reasonably priced and good location. They're using courtyard as parking, but I hardly see other guests come and go. Very quiet. Will come back here.
